AustriaWhen I arrived I couldn’t get the room I booked (however) so I got a room in the neighbour house. This is Senghaloune Villa which I would absolutely not recommend booking as it is super basic and not nice. The next day I could get my booked room and even extended my stay. Also the compensation (I didn’t had to pay the full price for the first night) was okay. By the way, the Boss is the only person to communicate in English.
Nice accommodation right at the river with beautiful view from the terrace. The restaurant is right above the water and everything is freshly prepared. The room is good, but I wouldn’t call it “de Luxe”. The bathroom would urgently need some maintenance. Even if everything works it doesn’t look good anymore.

United KingdomI liked it all and was very happy here. You hear boats at 6am and a little noise from the room next door but nothing major (this is quite normal for Laos) and it didn't really disturb me.
I liked the spacious room and bathroom (where the shower is hot with quite good pressure and NOT over the toilet which seems to be a Lao speciality!) The air conditioning was very much needed and welcome. I enjoyed the spacious communal balcony with chairs and hammock and the solidity of the structure. Great location near shops and restaurants and where the boats arrive. Great bikes for hire at a cheap price. Friendly, helpful owner and family.

Large room which was very clean but the winner was the view. Overlooking the river, plenty of restaurants close by (including the one on the property which was amazing), this really was an enjoyable stay. Free bicycle and the ferry drop off/pick up is right there as well which is very handy.

Warm welcome and directly at the boat pier. Quiet with a great view to the river, especially on rhe upper floor. Each room with hammock outside to relax. Hot shower wirh good pressure. Bicycle cheap to rent, booking of transports and trips always possible. Owner lady has a restaurant 100 meters away and offers excellent food and drinks whole day. Thanks for a perfect 4 nights stay.
