Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe Beds were really comfortable. The yoga classes were quite intense but very enjoyable. They held our luggage for us so we could explore the area before our 15:00 checkin which was much appreciated. Staff were very friendly.

IsraelIt's far from city center, no easy bus next to it, and the swimming pool is not part of the hotel ,it's public , and the yoga is also with extra payment, no bar or coffee to seating with local so I moved to city hall area with the same cost and 4 star hotel
The team was amazing and help as much they can. Was clean and basic room, closer to the sea side

South KoreaThere was no microwave at all in the hotel. We tried to heat up breakfast at 7 in the morning, but there was nobody there and there was no microwave in sight. Everything else was fine.
The location is around 1 km away from the airport. They provide a welcome drink, a Heineken or Tiger beer for free. In the room we were given, the furthest wall from the door was all glass, so the view was great.

JapanThe big idea/concept is great but they are severely lacking on the small details. The rooms come with a kettle and cups but no tea/coffee and room service don’t clean the cups. Even when we asked for clean cups the staff seemed confused. The towels are changed daily and a new bottle of water each, although a couple of times they forgot there were 3 people in the room, so we were short on towels. The beds are very wobbly, the first night we couldn’t sleep well due to the wobbliness so we ended up pushing one of the beds against the wall which was a little better. The bedding is changed every 3 days (no problem with that) but the bottom sheets are not fitted properly and some of the bedding has small holes. The room was not cleaned during the stay (9 days) other than the bedding/towels changed. It’s advertised as having a pool but it’s not what you expect if a hotel pool, it’s more like a city run pool. The bar/restaurant isn’t really open either. They have a course menu and discussion set (in Korean). It wasn’t an awful stay, we just feel that a lot of the details were over looked but as a guest, those details can make a mediocre stay into a great one. Possibly some of the information was lost in translation.
We booked in here because we liked the concept, from the listing we felt it would be a community, good healthy kind of vibe. It’s also close to the airport, about 10 mins by taxi. And 5 minutes walk from the rainbow road. Convenience store 2 minutes away. And lots of coffee shops/restaurants around. The rooms are well soundproofed and warm (underfloor heating) Shampoo and body wash is provided but toothbrush/toothpaste/razor etc are not but they do sell them in the reception area. The yoga class was great, (all Korean) easiest to book at reception. We got beer as a gift on NYE.

I really loved how the hotel had a very millennial vibe, and some cute art work on the walls of Jeju! The bed was comfy, the room clean, and I slept very well. There is also a bar attached to the hotel, where they serve yummy wine. Super close to airport and within a 5 minute walking distance to the ocean, so you can enjoy the waves. There’s a ton of restaurants nearby and gift shops for some last minute shopping.

CanadaIt was DIRTY and no chain lock!!!
It was extremely dirty-You can tell the floors and washroom wasn’t cleaned…the main carpeted areas were so gross. The front desk employees were kind…but they should know the basic tourist attractions including how to get to airports.
