Perfect location for a Namsan walk. Second year in a row that we came here for the last weekend of April to enjoy a spring walk in between the flowers. The walking bridge that allows you to cross from the hotel directly to the park is very. nice and makes you forget how busy the traffic can be. This year we also walked down to the iconic Leeum museum to complete a perfect weekend. As for the hotel itself…world class and the only reason for not scoring it a 10/10 is because of the awkward parking situation…no physical connection to the hotel itself.

    Pricey, but we can't complain.

Have been to the lounge before but it's first time staying. Expected a very small room but it was more than adequate. The view was fantastic, the room decoration and furniture were of top quality. A short walk to Gyungridan-gil with a lot of cafés, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent!!!

Uncooked potatoes and meatballs. No green vegetables available for omelette. Hostess was rude. Suite wasn’t as good as many other 5 star hotels.

Night light view much prettier than unattractive daytime sight of city Seoul.

Staff spoke limited English, room wasn’t properly cleaned and organized (they never made the baby cot bed for example). Most restaurants do not accept kids which we only found out there. Very expensive for what it delivers.

Walking uphill may be a challenge for people with limited mobility. But there is no problem with ordering a taxi, there is a bus stop nearby.

Great care for guests at every step. Beautiful view from the window of Namsan Tower. The hotel is in a quiet area, although close to bars serving local dishes.

To pay for seating despite the fact that complimentary drinks were given. To use the pool one has to have a swimming cap. Swimming cap has to be bought not complimentary if one doesn’t have it. No free shuttle service to the end of the slope which is a good 20minutes walk. There’s no shuttle from airport to hotel as well.

    Staff very pleasant and helpful

This was the wrong type of property for me personally. It’s also just very busy. I was not expecting to have to wait in line or buy food or drink just to sit in some of the lobby. Of course the views were amazing! And the staff super helpful. It’s also very scented in the lobby hotel which is hard for people with chemical sensitivities.

This was the wrong type of property and location for the nature of my visit.

Phenomenal hotel in a great location with comfortable, well designed rooms and polite, attentive staff. The Gallery is a great place to relax and have a light meal with a view overlooking the city. Breakfast is superb. The hotel is located next to Namsan Park with a direct connection, so you can go for a walk and pretend you aren't in the world's 3rd largest city.

5 star hotel, 1 star bed. Make sure you have a car.

The bed. My kids twin beds were super soft. Ours however, solid as a rock. Felt like I was sleeping on a piece of wood. We called this place 5 star hotel, 1 star bed. What on earth people? I would like a decent nights sleep for the price we are paying to stay there. Also the public transport connections are not great. You can ride a bus down to the subway station which you wouldn't want to walk to. But didn't discover the bus service until too late. So we used our car rental which you can park in their lot for a fee. The parking machine is a joke however. Even after telling them our plate number and how many days we were staying in the lot it kept giving us stupid high price to pay. Someone needs to explain whats going on there. We also didn't use the food services. Again, too expensive. I mean it looked like the Seoul elite came here for dinner so kudo's to the hotel I guess thats who they are trying to attract. Some simple room service breakfast options might be nice for the rest of us peasants LOL.

The views! The feeling of elevated service. This hotel does this total with class and style. They take care of their guests. The location is stunning. Right at the bottom of Namsan and close to the botanical garden which is worth a walk over to in the evening. We hiked up to the tower from those gardens (following the trail up the mountain) and it was strenuous but we did it even in the heat. Take water. Also walk to Locos, an amazing BBQ restaurant (western style BBQ) just a few minutes walk. It is amazing, the service was great and so close to the hotel.

I paid for a mountain view room and I got a room with no good view. Made no sense and it was facing literally nothing. I had more expectations and the room was small. I can pay the same about in tokyo and get a 5 star room.

The staff was really nice and caring. The pool was nice as well.
