Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe air-conditioning was very noisy and didn't provide much coolness. The shower was set too high so the water went straight over the cubicle. The breakfast was not very appetising☹️
Room was large and had a spa bath. The staff was friendly and helpful. Car parking was right by the hotel and was free. I think the room could do with some improvements, specially the bathroom which is huge but had no place to put your toiletries. It is reasonably.clean and the price was very good

United KingdomPrevious comments about the beds are entirely true. No give in the mattress at all and only one pillow. With the number of complaints, I might have thought it was about time for an upgrade.
Friendly staff; their English is significantly better than my Korean and this was appreciated (but not assumed). Spacious. Very good size bathroom. Breakfast simple but filling. Good value for money.

FranceWe never experienced a so tough bed in our life, it was like sleeping on a towel in the floor. Thus the room had no direct light from the outside since the windows opened on a kind of closed dead end… weird. The system dedicated to turn on and off the lights is not user friendly… a manual would be appreciated. No regular coffee at the breakfast, only a kind of nuts flavoured coffee that we did not appreciate.
Perfect localisation, close to the train station. The room was very clean, so was the bathroom. It looked like pretty new.

United KingdomA little outdated and could do with a spruce or maybe some modernisation. Bed was really uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep. Fridge was loud during the night time so I resorted to unplugging it.
Very central and great price, quiet area too. Attentive staff who replenished the tea, coffee and towels etc. A good base for 2 nights whilst we explores Daejeon. Didn't try the free breakfast on this occasion.

MalaysiaNeed to upgrade the toilet facility. Its modern however leaking water making the floor cool[Autumn] especially in the middle of the night..is uncooling. The fridge doesn't work after you pull out the card key.. Which is bad as I left my yogurts and drinks inside. Came back with lukewarm drinks. SO don't consider to leave any Ice-cream inside.
A simple style English Buffet Breakfast. It's good for us to have a filling breakfast before head out to track the beauty of S.Korea. Great Staff.Even the cleaning ajumma smiles. Great spacing in the room. Its nearby to bus station and other public transport. The room is wide, no worries for luggage space. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, showergel, soap and tooth paste is provided.

SingaporeHotel lobby had a garbage smell, possibly from the garbage just across the minor road fronting the hotel. The front desk staff who checked us in was unfriendly.
Responsiveness of hotel staff: We made a request at the time of booking for a wheelchair accessible room. Instead of the usual "subject to availability" caveat, the hotel confirmed it would reserve, and did reserve, a wheelchair accessible room for us. The hotel also entertained our subsequent requests and clarifications patiently. The rooms were spacious (suitable for wheelchair users) and reasonably clean.

South KoreaThe breakfast was not ideal (for a vegetarian, esp). White bread/toast was an option. Hazelnut? coffee on offer all day, but it's rough. One mattress was hard and doable, but the other-- you could feel the springs.
The location was ideal-- close to the venue where I was performing, and near the downtown/skyroad area with lots of restaurants, galleries, cultural events. The room was spacious, and the bath was nice. Everything was clean.

United KingdomThis seems to have been a fantastic hotel back in the time. However, the facilities are a bit outdated now. Staff were very friendly but do not speak almost any English. You can get by with Google translate though. Breakfast was ok-ish.
The location was great. Only one train stop from the station. It does the job, I only stayed for one night. The mattress was hard but comfortable and the bed was lovely. Bathroom was great and they give toiletries and bathrobes.
