As other reviews say, the bungalows need some maintenance! The air con and mosquito nets were good, but the lighting in ours was too dim to read by. We were in two bungalows up steep and slightly hazardous stairs, although most are only a few steps up from the beach. Shower rooms were functional but basic. It’s a shame as it wouldn’t take much to make this a 9 or 9.5. Note the end of March is no longer high season so there were generally fewer activities available, although that didn’t matter to us.

Location is brilliant - on the beach, fairly quiet but only 5 -10 minutes walk along the beach to the restaurants and bars. Getting picked up by boat from the ferry was really helpful as one of our party had a suitcase - difficult to drag over sand! Food in the restaurant is fairly good quality and value. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The huts are quite basic but if you are open to this then good as the location is on the beach is worth it. Bring ear plugs as music up the beach plays loudly until 3am - but the when you open the curtains in the morning.... you soon forget the music!

What an amazing beach! Just beautiful and you step right out on to it! Lovely porch area with seats and a hammock and great views of the beach. Nice bar area and food was good. Good spot at the end of the beach. AC worked ok - mosquito nets were really effective. Good to have sun beds to lie on, as no sand fly issues.

There are some gaps in the floor boards in the room so it can let in some insects but there’s mosquito nets on the beds and as someone who gets attacked by bugs I was perfectly fine.

For what you pay you couldn’t get a much better place to stay right on the beach. It was clean and comfortable, aircon, shower, hot water, wifi everything worked and the beach is just stunning. Also the restaurant was one of the best spots we ate on the island, food was fresh and delicious. Lastly it is on the best spot on the beach, tucked away at the end so nice and quiet but also so close to all the bars etc and less rubbish than elsewhere along the beach.

Staff were extremely helpful. Location is good, close to the beach and restaurants but not too loud. Overlooking the beach with nice views and restaurant was nice. Definitely watch out for the monkeys as they will come right outside your bungalow door so don't leave any food or belongings over night.

We’ve had the most wonderful time at white beach bungalows in Koh Rong. It’s a pity that we had already booked our stay at Koh Rong Sanloem, otherwise we would have stayed longer. The host is very helpful. Very reactive when you ask a question online but also on the sport from early in the morning till 4. He helps you to get you a driver to help you with your luggage to go back to the pier. The food is and drinks are very good. For those who are wondering ; no sand fleas here only mosquitos but the mosquito nets are already prepared above the bed so you can sleep in peace. The view from our room and our front porch was so calming. Especially from our hammock slowly rocking on the sound of the waves. We loved it!

Koh Touch beach is a very dirty (rubbish everywhere) and smelly in parts due to stagnant swap water next to the beach. I wouldn’t recommend visiting, go to koh rong saleom instead. White beach is at the end of koh touch beach and is cleaner due to the hotel maintence. But guests were still pulling rubbish out the ocean. The beach also isn’t safe for young children, due to mopeds driving along the beach! Right across the hotels beach! Constantly day and night. Music could be heard at night from surrounding bars, didn’t bother us but may not be to some people’s liking. Also would be good if each room was provided a broom to sweep up all the sand. Also our toilet regularly didn’t flush.

Stayed in bungalow 1, which had a lovely sea view and was next to the bar, so food could be order and delivered to our bungalow. Food was good and reasonable, we ate a lot of our meals here. The manager even arranged a cake for my son’s birthday to be bought over from another island.

Electricity is most of the time not working. This means the AC will not work and rooms can get pretty hot. Also water pressure from the shower is an issue.

The bunglaows , whilst quaint, were a little ramshackle and in need of some refurbishment. The water was subject to frequent outages, and when reconnected emitted brown water for a while, whilst I feel it should be stated on the website that there are twice daily periods when there is no electricity ! Whilst we were there, a For Sale notice went up, and I feel that the current owners may not be too conscientious about the running of this establishment, which is a shame as it has great potential !

The location was supsrb. At the end of the beach set up in the trees,with easy access to the stunning beach and clear water. Exceptional really. The only problem was that the bungalow could only be accessed via a very steep stairway, a bit too much for a 78 year old man ! I do have to say that ours was the highest bungalow in the site, so my comments in this respect do not apply to most of the bungalows.

Beautiful location directly on the beach, spacious bungalows with comfy beds and yummy food at the restaurant. A few minutes walk to the village with more restaurants and shops and also other beaches can easily be reached. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bungalows are obviously very simple, which is fine, but the windows would need a mosquito net, especially the one in the bathroom. There are power outages at specific times of the day, but that's understandable considering the area.

The bungalows are surrounded by trees and right on the beach, on a beautiful spot just 5 minutes walking from the main pier. The bar/restaurant is very nice and they have a good eye for details. Food is not bad. All the staff members were amazing, super helpful and polite. Aircon in the bungalows makes the difference.

Island-wide power outage from 11am-1pm and then 5-6pm was inconvenient and often lasted longer at white beach Basically no WiFi after storms for multiple hours Solution surrounding electrics after storms wasn't present Lack of communication about a power outage that lasted over 12 hours after a storm - although this couldn't be helped, perhaps the resort needs to have back up power options or communicate more readily with guests and provide lights etc.
