It is an excellent place, really excellent. The family is very welcoming and makes you feel in a very homely environment. They are attentive at all times to see if you need anything. The tea time is great. Everything was perfect in this place. The theme of the hotel is 10/10. I would definitely stay here again

I travelled alone for the first time and staying in this hotel was one of the highlights of my trip. This hotel is really one of the best places to stay in Siem Reap. The check-in was seamless. The staff are warm, friendly, and very helpful. There are several options for breakfast. The rooms are large and the bed is cozy. The lighting is a bit fim but I get that it's part of their vibe, and the wifi can be a bit slow at times but I didn't mind. Overall really a great stay.

The kindness shown by every staff member was exceptional at any time of the day. From the moment we walked in we felt the trust and peace of the people of the community. The accommodation was fabulous value for money. The food was always delicious and the staff accommodating and great fun! The only minor issue was the occasional odor from the bathroom, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The breakfast area, pool, and all the facilities were amazing, but what truly stood out was the staff. They were incredibly helpful in every situation and genuinely lived up to their motto: "The guests are part of the family." The hotel's commitment to sustainability is enviable; we even received refillable bottles and could refill water at stations throughout the hotel.

Everything was fantastic! Just be a little aware that in certain places the wifi is a bit weak, but I think this is natural for any hotel in the area. It wasn’t an issue overall.

This was by far the most pleasant stay I have had in years! The staff is an incredible group of people who care about you from the moment you step inside the hotel. The facilities are beautiful, it’s quiet, and very clean. The location is a 5min Tuktuk ride for $1USD into the downtown area and they will pick you up also. The staff will support you with whatever you need! BOOK THIS PLACE!

It's best to have a People by the Community team member help moving your suitcase around on the ground floor which they'll happily do. Being in a lively area, my room faced a venue playing music for a few hours on a Friday evening. No biggie, I just wore earplugs to fall asleep.

The team at People by the Community were awesome! Friendly, helpful and supportive for both accommodation and in the dining area. They checked in regularly to see if I needed anything. I recommend eating in the restaurant (especially the papaya salad and fish soup). The room was comfortable, clean and spacious (wow) with an effective AC unit. The hotel itself is beautiful with tiled floors and a gorgeous pool. The location is ideal for visiting Angkor Wat, just 10–15mins down the road by car, while there are also ATMs and convenience stores within short walking distance. If I come back to Siem Reap, I'd happily stay again not least because I support the principles the hotel is founded on!

The hotel it’s beautiful, they have 2 swimming pools, the rooms are huge and they serve the afternoon tea for free!!! The hotel is new and the staff is really dedicated and friendly.
