Not much privacy in the bungalow as the top beds on the balcony over look the main bedroom. We had a very noisy bungalow behind us that had a 48hr rave. Not great music but we managed to get on with it!

Big bungalow perfect for a group of friends or family. Great location and the most beautiful beach just on your doorstep. Staff were very friendly and good choice of breakfast.

Wifi is sometimes slow, but I came there to wind down and relax and not to work.

I travelled with my kids alone and received support whenever needed from the friendly staff. We were picked up with a smaller boat from the ferry pier. Our cabin was one of the 2nd row and it was spacious with decent bathroom and everything you would need. Fridge and deposit box included. There were sufficient electrical outlet for all our gadgets. During our stay the breakfast menu was reduced due to the pandemic, but it was communicated immediately and understandable for me. The food was very nice, especially the pancakes. My son is still talking about them. Overall a very pleasant stay, mostly because of the amazing staff. We wish to come back soon.

Huge amount of plastic on beach. But they try to keep it as clean as possible. Every day new trash that washes ashore. Construction going on at hotel next door.

Amazing service from staff, forgot passports in hotel safe... Less than 24h later was already delivered at our hotel in Phnom Penh for low price. Prime location and 'traditional' rooms. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

our room ac wasn’t cold enough. the resort had no paddle boards.

the beach was visible from our bungalows. the free breakfast included a variety of options. the water was very clear and the hammocks outside was perfect of a beach read or a nap. everything was in walking distance. we even extended our trip for an extra night!

It is not only for this resort but the amount of trash around the beach front of the place was a bit disappointing, and we would have loved to help collect it but there were no trash cans either.

The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much for them. They were attentive and always courteous. Since I travelled alone and over New Year, they made the effort to make sure that I was always ok. Ocean front room was very spacious, clean and in a great location. Woke up to a stunning view of the sea each morning

We went just after they had reopened the restaurant post covid restrictions so the food selection was limited but I assume they will eventually reinstate the full menu.

Really loved our stay here. The staff were wonderful, the location is idyllic and the rooms were excellent. I have stayed at a few resorts on the island and this was by far my favourite and the one I will be returning to.

We had a big issue with the transfer to the hotel. In the way there the boat man was very careless and a lady on board ALMOST became very seriously injured when the boat part of the wooden pier. Our return transfer was a disaster. The transfer only takes about 5 minutes but it started raining very heavily - this is understandable as we are in the raining season - however - there was nothing to shelter our bags from rain and the boat filled up with water as we went, flooded the bottom of my suitcase and destroyed my $1000 usd laptop. I am very angry about this. I could see before the rain had even stayed that the guy was bailing the water out of the blast before we got in. Why are you using such a bad boat ?!?!?! We paid 6 usd for washing and half of it came back soaking wet.

The staff were really fabulous and so helpful and friendly. There was Always a smiling face to see. The beachfront bungalow was really great. Thee view was amazing. They are slightly more rustic but this just added to the character of the place. Free paddle board was great (although the Second one needs to be replaced) The private 4 hour snorkeling and fishing trip they organised for us was simply excellent. I would have given 10/10 if it wasn’t for the problem below that we had.

Sadly, it's all a bit tired and would benefit from some tlc. For example covers on all the furniture are in need of a good wash and the front veranda re-staining. That said we throughly enjoyed our stay on this wonderful slice of paradise

Beautiful location, great staff, always smiling and welcoming. Accomodation was OK, reasonably comfortable. The bathroom window with views of the ocean is stunning and has real wow factor.

Room in not good condition, bathroom needs missing tiles replaced. Air Con didn’t cool down room. Limited choice for vegetarians no choice for lunch nor dinner.

The hotel had problems in electricity, (a few hours of electricity cut occurred three times during stay of 2 nights.) as well as no hot water ( I asked for checking it but denied by the hotel). Too high price for this qualifier facilities. Very stressful for a family trip. Backpacking should be fine.

The room has 2 sleeping levels and the aircon is at the lower level. The temperature on the upper level was consequentially very high. For the price we paid the minimum that could be expected is, that the room climate is managed so that everybody can have a decent sleep.

Do not forgot to bring and apply your insect repellent when you visit Koh Sanloem. The sandflies on the island are prolific and I was eaten alive.
