We didnt like salty waters in showers. We were traveling with 4 children and there was no activities for them so it was hard on us. We could'nt walk on the beach as there were many "best sellers" harasting us.. it was really disturbing and the childten felt uncomfortable. Many stairs to go to the rooms.

The beach is beautiful. The people who works at reception are very nice and welcomming. The hotel has very nice view and plants all sround. We loved it. The price is good.

The room is actually shockingly smaller than most hotels I have been to, plus the first day, we had an issue with the beddings having ants, but that was sorted when we mentioned to the staff the next day.

loooved the location and changing dinner venues every night, plus the wanavokali music was on point. they could have a better variety for breakfast but generally good.

Drinks of course not included and typical hotel rates. Bad check-in experience not because of the hotel but because of Booking.com. Booking.com customer service also gave sub-par responses, One small suggestion to the hotel - larger screen TVs?

Most of the staff is helpful and excellent. Meals were good. Overall enjoyful despite not receiving what was promised at booking.

You could tell that the hotel lost its former glory - we heard that it changed owner and it has not been kept as well as it used to be. Everything is a little old or outdated (but as said, the staff makes up for it!). There was construction ongoing in one part of the hotel but it did not bother us much. What I didn't like was that the shower water was salty, and so is the pool water, and you'd just never feel really clean. Also we were told the Deluxe room would have a jacuzzi and the photos were showing a nice bathroom, but ours was very old and the jacuzzi (in the shower tub) was not working. The bathroom was much smaller and older than the photos showed. Overall I'd say it was a bit overpriced, but it falls right within the price ranges in Diani.

The staff! They went over the top to make sure we were comfortable. In terms of facilities, the place has lost a bit of its shine, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made up for all of it. I hope their employer treats them as the diamonds they are! The room was OK, the bed comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach and has the most amazing views. The breakfast and dinner were good overall, the food options varied daily and everything was fresh. What was also nice is that the location of the breakfast and dinner would change - we had dinner on the poolside one night, and on the beach the other. It was wonderful overall!

We chose a Deluxe Room, it was ok but not as good as I hoped. The bathroom specially was just basic. Rooms are in building, kind of resort and I prefer little unit instead of bigger building. Fortunately the resort was not full so it was not so disturbing. We could hear people in the next room, privacy was not 100% respected.

The beach is amazing and we are super close to it. We were super happy that the resort was not full so it was quiet and relaxing. Staff is friendly, smiling and helpful. Food was ok, could be better. Evening shows were fantastic! A lot of fun there. Location is perfect if you want to stay close to Diani center. You can go to the market (Carrefour) walking (20mn) or using a Tuc Tuc (10mn).

Most of the hotel is very outdated and run down and is in need of renovation The spa is very underwhelming - a lot of options unavailable or broken down, jacuzzi filthy and unusable. The water in the showers in the room is salty and we didn't have hot water in our room.

The beach was lovely Private area on the beach where the vendors cannot harass you The staff were friendly and helpful Buffet food was good and they had new and interesting options daily for dinner. Also included swahili dishes which are worth trying. Overall enough facilities to have a good holiday

Check in was smoother than I expected since we had were a big party. The attendant who I remembered from my last visit was very helpful as he always is. Check out though not as smooth.The male attendant at the front desk did not appear to know what he was doing.He was unable to verify if the room had been paid for, until I showed him my credit card receipt. My check outs are usually very smooth as I settle my accounts and close my tabs the night before check out, but this guy left a bad taste in my mouth. Also I think more female check in staff I think may do a better job as far as guest relations. Faith I think her name was quite helpful.

The outside toilets were all broken bar one for the whole stay.

The palm trees! The beach which had an area which the beach sellers could not access so you could chill in peace. The restaurant overlooking the beach. The pool needed maintenance but was great.

They don't follow the booking.com discounts and just calculate their own on the spot, forget your special genius discounts stated by booking.com. Booking.com price is one, and at this property it's the full price. Moreover, on the second day we had our towels taken by the staff, and they forgot to bring the clean ones. Was very hard to get the clean ones after !! 5 !! phone calls to reception. Only after a call to houskeepers directly after a while they brought clean towels. Still after 5 calls to reception it was an evening already and our plans were disturbed with no ability to shower.

Reception is shabby and needs to be spruced up as it is the entry point. Paint all around hotel needs to be refreshed - faded and peeling like yellow lines at tops of stairs. Blue guard rail around property isn’t secure and is a safety risk. Also not enough waiters/overworked wait staff.

Excellent food. Beautiful beach. Guest areas at bar and restaurant areas beautiful, comfy and breezy with artistic decor.

The property was a lot bigger than I expected and the feel is a bit too commersial for my liking. The area around the pool is beautiful but the sunbeds have no umbrellas so only 2-3 sunbeds will be in the shaddow of some tiny palm trees.

Overall great hotell with very service minded staff and great food.
