The Hotel is near the train station and the shuttle bus going to Gala Yuzawa. The foods are excellent, you can really feel that you’re on a vacation. The room is so spacious and has it’s own onsen inside the room. Plus the ambiance it is really excellent, very relaxing.

AustraliaYukinohana is a really nice Ryokan. It has some yukata that you can wear around the hotel, and also has 3 nice private onsen that you don't need to pay extra for or book in advance, so if you have tattoos, you can still bathe! It also has really clean, comfy rooms, and some free ice cream in the afternoons, plus free half-sized ramen in the evenings! It also has a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. My friend and I spent our entire stay in the hotel, other than briefly going out for dinner.

A cosy comfortable hotel in a ski town (though I was not there for winter sports). Easy access, since it was a short walk down the main road from JR Shinkansen Echigo-Yuzawa Station. While a modern hotel, and Japanese in style, it reminded me of Meiji period architecture where western elements were combined with traditional Japanese style. For example my room had tatami mats and a futon bed, but the futon was on a 15cm foam base and was set against the wall. Also the chairs were lower than standard western chairs, but higher than sitting on a cushion on the tatami mats. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and the onsen with a view over the Shinkansen lines and the mountains beyond was very relaxing.

Loved the private onsens. There are 3 private onsens so it's a short wait. Just look at which light is not on. Very systematic. There is a bench for you to wait as well. The extra large king bed was very comfortable! Most japanese wear the room pjs to the onsen.

IndonesiaThe bed was a bit too hard and there were only 2 pillows for each bed. It would be ok for single beds, but for a King Size bed that means we both only have 1 pillow each and we asked for extra pillows but they weren't available until our last night of our stay.
The property is just a short walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. The property is awesome with lots of facilities, 3 different Private Onsens, unlimited ramen at night. Rooms are really great.
