It was about 800m to the train station which is fine but with bags or bad weather could be annoying. It was quiet and peaceful so if you want hustle and bustle might not be the best option.

So much room! By far the biggest space we stayed in while in Japan. Kids had a separate room. Washer/drying in the bathroom. Staff spoke amazing English all round super impressed and would have loved to stay longer.

The suite was spacious and pristine. The small extras in the room made all the difference. The pour over coffee equipment with a bag of fresh coffee beans, bottle of wine in the fridge and a washer/dryer in the room was fantastic!

No complaints!

We loved everything about ulu Tokyo! Three of us stayed for 4 nights at the spacious (HUGE!) unit with a kitchen, living room, great bathroom with washer/dryer, a small balcony and amazing view of the river and Eitai Bridge (see photo). In addition to the 2 queen beds in the photo, there's a small bedroom with 2 twin beds. Nice walking/running trail along the river. Short walk to the Monzen-nakacho Station which is on both Oedo and Tozai lines. All the ulu staff we met were very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. From Narita, we took the Limosine Bus to Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT). It's a short walk to ulu but we opted to take a taxi with our luggage. We flew out of Haneda and that was an easy 16-min ride by taxi. We'll definitely stay at ulu again.

Beds were a bit hard. Would be good to have a toaster, we had to make toast in a frying pan!

Great location and value for money. River view apartment was well worth the slightly higher price than the city view. The staff in the reception were really helpful and friendly. The complementary welcome Prosecco was a nice gift and great to have laundry powder supplied.

Bed was firm but only stating this for those that require a soft mattress..as to not lead astray.

Hands down best place I've ever stayed (besides having our own villa in Bali 😜) staff are so helpful and friendly and have good English skills, happy to teach some Japanese phrases also. The place is so clean and big and all amenities you need for cooking l, you get free refills on wine..snacks, washing powder and other nik knacks. get a balcony it's worth it..awesome views of the river and surrounds..the night lights are soothing and the area is so calm being a residential area. It's nice and quiet while somehow busy at times on the bridges, only a short walk over the bridge to the train station. There is an elevator and stairs at the complex. And I will 100% stay here again if I come back to Japan.

There is no better property in Tokyo! Unbelievable staff, hotel room for families traveling to Tokyo! Ample size, the river side view and facilities all which lead to an incredible and comfortable experience!

We loved Ulu! It was the perfect stay for our family. We love that the kids have their own room. The room is so spacious for Tokyo! The bathroom is super nice. The front desk staff is always very helpful. We also enjoyed the view of the river. It was wonderful after a busy day touring around the city. The kitchen and dining area is very well equipped. We loved Ulu and will be back next time we come to Tokyo The area is very quiet, a big contrast to the hustle and bustle in the more touristy area. We really like that we can get a good night’s sleep in. It’s slightly far from the metro station but we didn’t mind the walk. We can also take bus directly to Tokyo Station.

The river view suite is gorgeous. It's huge and ample space for a family of 4. In addition to the main room with 2 queen beds, there is another room with 2 single beds for the kids. The bathroom has a washing machine which is a lovely bonus!

Enough room for a family of four with two teenagers, great setting, and enjoyed being a little out of the way but easy transport options into the centre too. Loved the rooftop terrace, views at night and the river fireworks. The staff were so kind and helpful and could not do enough to help with any queries, they were all amazing. You also had the choice of when your apartment was cleaned.

It's like a full apartment. Full kitchen (they give wine, cookies, coffee, tea), washer/dryer (they even give you the soap). Very near 3 train stations, stores, etc.
