We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

FranceThe bathroom is private but separate from the room, not a major issue though, it was very clean and not far from the room but still less convenient than ensuite bathroom.
Ideal location to go to Teshima and Naoshima. Very short walk to train and ferry. Very nice staff giving a lot of explanations. They have handy and convenient maps and transport schedules at the reception to organise your trips. Nice breakfast room. Restaurants nearby.. I recommend this place as a hub to the artsy islands.

New ZealandUno Port in was ten out of ten in every respect. The cleanliness, the location and the staff. Max the owner, Meco, Minh, Long and there were one or two more that we didn’t get the names of. They are all amazing - nothing is too much trouble, very caring. One of us wasn’t well and they were so lovely. The breakfasts were fantastic. Everything. A fabulous Onsen was only 200m away. Would really recommend Uno Port Inn.

Switzerland- Compared to the Japanese style bedroom of the previous night (on the upper floor), the twin room (on the ground floor) was not as nice. I found the Japanese room more functional and better laid out. - No soundproofing
Very good hotel in an extremely convenient location. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers available.

New ZealandThe staff were wonderful, so kind and warm. When we arrived, we were given useful information about transport to Naoshima (where we had a day trip planned) and places to eat in Uno. The staff also offered breakfast in the morning and this came at an extra cost but was a great way to have a meal with ease before catching an early ferry to Naoshima (the ferry terminal is so close to the accom, directly across the street). Room was a good size for us two and had a small outside balcony with a swing bench/seat.

this is a small sort of ryokan-hotel hybrid. the owner max and staff are super sharp, friendly, helpful -- the staff are sharp and personable and really make this a great and simple little inn. location is awesome base for exploring art islands (naoshima etc) , and is moments from the train line. i was happily surprised that Uno Port actually had several restaurants . breakfast is great!

Great stepping off point for a trip to Naoshima! Max was extremely helpful in sorting out our booking failure (we got the rooms right, but not the number of people) with a minimum of fuss, and the other staff (special mentions to Minh for excellent English) were really helpful and friendly. The bed was harder than most hotels, but in terms of an up-market ryokan it was excellent - and actually quite good for our backs! The separate-but-linked bathrooms were cool as well, though naturally limited a little in space. Overall a really good place to stay!

The location was right next to the train station and port. This was traditional style hotel at one time with thin walls and private (1 assigned to each room), locking bathrooms nearby (with strong, hot showers). It has been nicely decorated in a modern way with a cool cinema theme. A delicious bagel sandwich and incredible coffee was part of the included breakfast and set me up for the day of bike riding around Naoshima Island. The best part of my stay was the super friendly staff! Everyone seemed to greet me by my name and offered assistance with dinner recommendations, travel logistics, laundry instructions and provided very nice social interaction. It’s great for a solo traveler. Not having tv in the room gets you out of the room and meeting people. Happy either way the price. Excellent overall show experience.
