Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoThe room way too small. We stayed for 15 days and purchased a lot of games, CDs, clothes and souvenirs, so our luggage barely fit the small space in the room.
Location is great, a lot of restaurants close to the hotel. Also 7 Eleven and Lawson stores. Tamachi Station is only at 5min walking. 30min to Odaiba in the Monorail. Incredible vacations.

ItalyThe apartment was very small, even if our suitcases were carry ons. But we spent most of the day outside anyway.
The hotel is near the Tamachi station, next to the Yamanote line which is essential if you want to see the big Tokyo districts. We checked in very easily and quickly alone with a check in machine in the lobby Amenities were offered for free and there were plenty of vending machines and it offered a common washing machine with coins. Beautiful bars and restaurants near the Tamachi bridge and many convenience stores nearby

AustraliaThere was nothing I did not like, other than the size of the room left little space for our large suitcases, but this was to be expected when booking
The room was spotless on arrival. All the front desk staff spoke some english which took the pressure off my Japanese. The breakfast was first class each morning and good variety and very friendly service

AustraliaWhen we arrived at night there was no warm welcome from the reception, I think the reason for this was the reception person cannot speak English at all. Room was too small.

GermanyThe staff was really helpful after some complications with check-in. Near the check-in machines was a station where you could take some skincare products if you need them. The breakfast was a good and simple chinese breakfast. The room was clean but small. But thats normal in Tokyo. The nearest train station Tamachi was reachable in 3 minutes by foot. There are also a lot of restaurants near the hotel.

Thailand- If you travel to/from Haneda Airport with large luggage, you may have to change 1 station to reach the hotel. But if you have a car it takes only 15 mins which is very convenient.
- The hotel is not far away from JR/ Toei Station that much. On the way from the station to hotel, there’re Lawson, Family mart and also some restaurants which we can stop by to have a meal. - Essential facilities and amenities are well provided (hair dryer, pot, pajamas, cloth hangers, Cleansing oil, face mask, sunscreen, bath power etc.)

BrazilPillows. I think this is the only downside in Japan.
The location is exceptional. Very close to Tamachi station on the yamanote line. Very calm neighborhood. The downside is if you like to go out at night, because it's not very close to Shibuya, Shinjuku. But, it's manageable. The room is small, but nothing terrible.

AustraliaOnly downside was the room being the small size that it is for the price. It was a bargain so can’t really complain as it was a compromise that we were willing to make.
Close to the Tamachi train station, short 5 mins walk. There were various Izakaya and small restaurants around the vicinity, convenience store always nearby (Lawson about 1 min walk). The hotel even had rental scooters out the front. We stayed at what appears to be the new annexe to the original building so the room was clean, newly furbished and although a bit on the small side there is space underneath the bed to keep you luggages. The hotel provides an amenities station at the lobby area so don’t panic if you see none in the room, take what you need from the station. Room was clean, not the least noisy and pretty good value for money. We didn’t opt for the breakfast so not sure how good that is.

GermanySize and layout of the room was smaller compared to the previous hotel I stayed in Osaka, although the interior was similar. Price was also much more expensive but since it's Tokyo it's understandable. I would have preferred, if some of the amenities would be provided in the rooms instead. Also, at least from my room in the annex, unfortunately I only had a view at the wall of another building. The air conditioner was also quite loud, so that I had turn it off every time I slept.
Close to Tamachi and Mita station. Hotel staff was friendly and helped me with calling a taxi. Rooms were regularly cleaned after every third day. Automated check-in and check-out. Washing machine with a drying function included. Overall, had a decent stay.

AustraliaIf anything maybe the size of the room was a little small, but you'd already know this going into booking into a business hotel like this one.
The location was great, with Tamachi station being pretty close by to get on the JR line but also Mita station down the road to get on the Asakusa line for other options as well. There was also quite a few shops around the area so you didn't need to go far to get most of your needs met.

GermanyThe staff from the restaurant where you can get breakfast in the morning is not friendly. On our last day, we wanted to buy breakfast and the lady was annoyed with us asking if we could pay for it on the counter with credit card, since it didn't work we had to pay with cash but she was very unfriendly to us. Not the hotel's fault but it is the only thing that we didn't like.
The facilities were in impeccable condition and the location is really good. The staff from the hotel treat us well and you can get free amenities in the lobby, everyday after walking so much we could take some green tea bags and relax with some tea in our room. Excellent choice.

AustraliaThe laundry facilities were limited and often used, so we had to either get up really early in the morning or stay up to wash clothes.
They provide so many amenities at reception, and you are free to take as much as you need. This includes face masks, bath salt, lotion, and many more. The staff was also very helpful and could understand a bit of English. The location was also great as it has two train lines that cover most of the popular destinations around Tokyo

Hotel is average but complimentary needs are unlimited, very helpful staff, quite small for two luggages, you need to put other luggage under the bed, but it's comfortable. Housekeeping is done only every 4 days, all in it was a good stay, if you only looking for 2-3 nights, shops very near, location around 5mins to Tamachi Station, luggage delivery to another hotel is available
