Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaRoom was very large and wonderfully equipped. Rooftop indoor and outdoor areas we great - amazing view of skytree! Easy walk from train station and to lots of fun things. Staff were gorgeous, even taught us some Japanese and when to use which. We highly recommend Tomos.

The hotel is just in front of the bus stop which makes it very convenient and easily accessible. All of the staffs are very welcoming and friendly! They accommodated really well to my requests and sincerely assisted us. The rooftop view is amazing as well. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!

FranceThis small hotel is fantastic. Everything was great and spotless, and the beds are very comfortable. We also had a small balcony, perfect for relaxing, and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. There's a rooftop with a stunning view of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Perfect Location : near the Metro, Tokyo Sky Tree and Sensō-ji Temple. The staff is incredibly kind and professional; they helped us with many things. I've never encountered such kind staff. Truly incredible. There wasn't anything we didn't enjoy, everything was really nice and perfect ! However, it can be a bit challenging to do your makeup in front of the bathroom mirror because the lighting isn't bright enough. But you can do your makeup in the living area by drawing the curtains to let in more light. I highly recommend this place! I would gladly return !

The rooftop is amazing. We often ended our evening there watching the Tokyo Sky Tree light show. The location is very convenient for what we wanted to do. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this place.

United KingdomThe room is smaller than expected. There's no door or curtain outside the show room so it's a bit embarrassed to pick up your clothes after bathing, and the floor can easily get wet.
The staff are extremely helpful. We wanted to dry our clothes at 12am but the clothes dryer were occupied. The staff helped managing this and we can see our dried clothes outside our door the next morning. This was impressing. I'm surprised there're 3 staff at the reception during the busy hours (check out time). All of them speak good English.

A large, well appointed room. Staff was excellent and quick to respond to requests. Arrived for fireworks festival and rooftop patio was set up to host guests. View was spectacular. Great neighborhood to explore and close to transit connections.

They even offered us a ride from the hotel to Asakusa Train Station since we had a lot of baggage and made sure we didn’t have a hard time locating the elevator to the subway.
