The hotel is located on a hill, which I hiked several times until I found out there is an accessible entrance through the adjacent building, from the main street. Once I realized that, reaching the metro station was an easy 5 minutes walk.

The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained and a short walking-distance to several metro stations. The staff was friendly and communicates well in English. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with all the utilities one can think of. I slept very well during the night as the room is soundproof.

It’s expensive for sure and it’s a little far of a walk to the nearest subway line.

Stunning room with an incredible view. It really is an amazing place to stay if price is no object. The staff were lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend it if the budget can handle it.

The only negative point is the location of the hotel. It is pretty far from the main shopping districts like Shibuya and Harajuku. It is pretty quiet at night, although there is a lot of police patrol in the area as there are many embassies around. There is easy access to the train station and taxis are easily available. However, I will still stay at The Okura again.

The breakfast had a good selection. The Japanese restaurant had a really nice garden view. The rooms are very spacious and the views are amazing. The fitness centre is awesome and has a wide range of gym equipment. The staff at The Okura are very helpful and attentive and polite too. Additionally, I was very impressed that most of them are able to communicate in English very fluently.

The location isn’t great for tourists things it’s very much a business district. Location from the train station is up a massive hill so be warned if you have suitcases.

Absolutely beautiful property, amenities and staff are incredible.

The hotel is located in a quieter part of town and was surrounded by office buildings. There weren't many shops or restaurants that are easily accessible from the hotel on foot. We relied on taxi to get to places. It wasn't a problem for us because my partner and I have been to Tokyo before and we had targeted places to visit on this trip. However, I can see it can be a problem for people who travel to Japan for the first time and enjoy walking around to experience the culture.

The room was so big at Otaru. We were able to open all five of our suitcases on the floor and there was still space to walk around in the room. That's unheard of in any hotel in Tokyo. The staff were very helpful. One of our luggage was delivered to the hotel before our check in and was already present in the room when we went to our room. The amenities were beautiful. They also provided lots of complimentary water for the room which was a nice touch.

I can not find any fault in this hotel.

This is a wonderful property located in an elegant area close to main shopping streets. Our room was on 38th floor and provided a fantastic view of the city particularly at night. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with both Japanese and continental dishes. Despite the size this hotel feels cosy and intimate.

Incredible hotel, service and staff are exceptional. The upgrade from it being our honeymoon (and coincidentally a birthday between us on check-in) was a wonderful touch. The room service to celebrate was the best, and again - the room was just incredible. Worth every penny.

We booked the tempura dinner at the Heritage Japanese restaurant but felt this was quite expensive for what you actually got, pretty much my only complaint.

The Spa is a real blessing here. We used it every day of our 3 day / 2 night stay. Beautiful room design in Heritage wing and Hotel design in the Prestige lobby & bar.

I have to be pushed to think of this but there is a queuing system for breakfast which seemed a little unnecessary as when we eventually got into the breakfast room there were lots of tables available. Literally that is the only negative I can think of as our whole stay was unbelievable and we would stay there again in a flash.

Where to start!? The hotel is itself stunning, the staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are stunningly beautiful, comfortable And spacious. Everything was thought of down to pyjamas / toothpaste and there was sweet gifts left for us in a drawer
