Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaCompact however with all the facilities you would need. The massage chair was a bonus at the end of a big travel and exploring day.

CanadaOur outbound flight was delayed so we requested a later checkout - they would not accommodate without a fee, but they did store out luggage at no additional cost instead, so all was good!
Great location, close to trains and walkable to many attractions and restaurants. Loved the in-room massage chair too, after all the walking!

JapanThere was a small massage chair in the room. I guess some ppl like it, but I'd rather have space for storage than that.
The room was clean, it was tiny but expected it. location, location! a few minutes walk to the Imperial Palace, many great food options near by, traditional fares under the train bridge, and more high end restauratns in Midtown and Ginza. We took the bullet train from Tokyo Station which was a short taxi ride. The breakfast was ok, but there are options nearby.

United KingdomThe cafe/bar opening hours were very limited and there was nowhere comfortable to hang out other than our room.
Great location, good size rooms, massage chair in the room was a nice touch. Bed was incredible comfortable. Check in was fairly easy and they kindly kept our bags safe for a couple of hours before our check in time. Lots of shops are walkable and the over all a nice place to stay.

TaiwanThe room is a bit small…
A very good location. It only took me 40 mins from Handa Airport to the hotel. And it is specially a wonderful place for staying if you are a fan of takarazuka revue; the hotel is just next to Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre. The staff is also nice and helpful. I really appreciate the help they kindly provided when I stayed in the hotel. I also enjoyed the massage chair in the room. Brilliant!

United StatesOur room was very very small, so if you’re on the lower end of the budget, don’t expect much space.
It was super easy to get around because the Hibiya subway station was barely a block away. It was clean and efficiently used the space. Also, breakfast was fantastic!

MexicoThe room is not so big, for tourists with big luggage. This hotel is more focused for executives or short stays.
The hotel is near several train stations, less than 10 mins. Also very near to the Imperial Castle, which is 15 min walking. Ginza is just crossing a street. Even Tokyo station is 30 min walking. A lot of places to eat! The room had a massage chair, very useful after hours walking. The staff was very attentive and always smiling. I'll pick this hotel if I come back to Tokyo.

FranceRooms are small (but no surprise). A bit disappointed by the cleanleness of the bathroom (very perfectible, there was a lot of dust).
Well equiped room. Very nice staff available at any time. Breakfeast is also very good (although limited choice on the buffet). Really lots of restaurant very close by. Central location makes it easy to access any Tokyo district

CanadaWe stayed in several hotels during our three weeks in Tokyo/Singapore. I did not rate this room until we completed our journey and we had a feel for the good and bad hotels the reality is, Japan hotel rooms are small. This room was done right for Tokyo hotels. The room and bathroom were fairly sized and allowed us to comfortably stay (including accessing clothing etc I luggage). We stayed in 5 different hotels all in the same price range and this is a good pick.

Too bad this stay was just for an overnight stop before flying back home. Will book in this hotel again when I have a future trip to Tokyo. It is in Ginza area so location was pretty good. As most of the hotels in Japan, rooms are in the average range of 12-15 sqm for a single person or 2 to stay in so the price is commensurate with the location. There are also a lot of good restaurants in the area and Hibiya Station is just a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

GermanyIt was a bit stuffy, we tried changing the AC temperature but it was centrally controlled. If we could open the window it would be a bit better.
A very nice and luxurious hotel at an affordable price in the heart of Ginza. Close to two subway lines (Ginza and Hibiya lines). There's a small massage chair in the room.
