Size of meals was too much. Maybe allow for some choices at mealtime. The location of the hotel was in the middle of nowhere on a street that wasn’t walkable, so we had to take a taxi to do exploring.

The two-story room was spacious, very clean and welcoming. The staff was incredibly attentive. Having meals prepared fresh each day was amazing and the quality of the food was the best! I was overwhelmed by the quantity of food provided and struggled because I didn’t want to waste anything. I think they should make the meals fewer courses. The free toiletries were very luxurious! The onsen was enjoyed by all - one at a time!

Had a bit of a hiccup during the booking, and ended up having to pay extra at the property which I still cannot comprehend the reason for it. Food was also better/more impressive the previous time in Oct 2023 compared to this time round - found it lacking in flavour and depth. First time visitors would definitely still be impressed, but I was comparing it with what we had experienced previously and was expecting a little more.

2nd time back at this place. Had a fantastic stay the previous time (Oct 2023) and decided to come back here once again. Bed is comfortable. Love the private onsen too. Managed to catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji from our rooms.

The food was amazing! The space was nice, both interior and garden. Hosts were very helpful, for example helping us figure out transportation to our next location (they even paid for one of our taxis without us realizing it!).

Fabulous private apartment with onsen which has been made to the highest standards. Staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly, just loved our stay. Had a view of Mt Fuji from the apartment, we felt very privileged.

The tree in front of the private onsen is a little bit too tall, blocking the Mt.Fuji view which I am a little bit disappointed because it is one of the main purpose of the room.

It's a wonderful experience for our family - private onsen, traditional Japanese halfboard, room with mt. Fuji, spacious and clean room. Lin's service has been fabulous and we truly enjoy our stay here.

The view was absolutely amazing, Mt Fuji was visible from the top floor with very few obstructions and visible from the private onsen. The staff were very friendly and communicated in English using a translation app. When it was time for us to leave, they arranged a taxi to take us back to Kawaguchiko Station at our request. Dinner was kaiseki style, and every dish we had was expertly crafted and everything was so fresh! I am normally a picky eater and I enjoyed everything I was served. Breakfast was a more casual kaiseki style with everything brought out at the same time and all of those dishes were perfectly prepared as well. The private onsen was very hot, maybe too hot for some, but I enjoyed it. Our first night there, it snowed and we were able to open the windows to let a little snow fall into the onsen area.

Breakfast and dinner was sumptuous. The room was very clean and spacious, we also had a very nice view of Mount Fuji from parts of the room. Private onsen was excellent as well. Everything was provided like a 5-star hotel, from toiletries to drinks, they even had a towel warmer! The bed was more comfortable than some hotels. The apartment had elements of a ryokan yet was modern like a service apartment. We exceptionally love the service of the hosts :)

Booked this place for our 10 year anniversary. The reviews couldn't have been more fitting. One of the best places we stayed on our trip to Japan. If you don't mind spending a bit of time to get here you will not be disappointed. Fantastic food, amazing accommodation, and the friendliest staff you could imagine. Not all the staff spoke English, but you could easily communicate with Google translate. There are bicycles available to use free of charge, and you can ride around to a nearby lake to get a fantastic view of Mt Fuji. Thank you to the team for making our 10 year anniversary one to never forget. A special way to end our trip to Japan.

The wifi was laggy at times and also wishing there were hooks around the bathroom to hang our used towels.

The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!
