SingaporeCompact room with triple beds was comfortable enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Plus point: the bathroom in our room looked and felt like it was newly upgraded! Friendly hotel staff. 7-11 just across the road. The only downside was that we drove there and there's no cheap parking spot nearby.

United KingdomIt used a key system where you had to return the key every time you left the building, on return you said your room number and they gave it back. This was a mild annoyance which, reduced the feeling of security in the hotel.
In a great location with a cozy theme, it had a pleasantly preserved vintage feel to the hotel and was surrounded with places to visit, such as restaurants near the train station (10-15 minutes away) or the European houses on the hill in the other direction (also 10-15 minutes by foot)

The staff were truly excellent, they helped us find the affiliated parking garage down the street and even walked there themselves to help discuss the cheapest rate. Afterwards they called around for us to see which recommended restaurants still had a spot for us and took our luggage to the room. The rooms themselves are spacious for Japanese standards and the beds are comfortable. All amenities were available. The cute Mini at the front completes the decoration.

The location is quite good, although it's on a light slope which is a bit hard for heavy luggage case. The hotel is a bit ancient European style, It is lovely for us. Look like some facilities are a bit old, but all the basic needs for a stay are fulfilled. Although there is not so many choices, the breakfast buffet of the hotel is nice! I love the seafood salad, and the coffee too!
