This hotel is in a great location if you’re wanting to explore Chinatown and the rest of Yokohama. The room was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

We were expecting a tiny room like most budget hotels in Japan, and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was very well designed though to make good use of the space available. The bathroom was amazingly large for a budget hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable as well, not hard nor soft. The hotel is within walking distance of Chinatown, shopping mall, Cup-A-Noodle Museum, cruise terminal (cobbled stone streets make tough walking with luggage) and convenience stores. The staff was very accommodating and patient as we were a family of 9. We didn’t eat within the hotel, but chose convenience stores and local fare steps away from the hotel.

Some of the check in staff could have been friendlier and more 'cheerful'.

I particularly liked the breakfast, which had a good variety of food. Also, one of the staff members (Mr Yamaguchi) was very helpful and friendly - the friendliest member of staff I met during my stay. The man in charge of parking was helpful and kind and helped the whole procedure run smoothly.

- Walking distance to Chinatown, shopping, restaurants, convenience stores, train station, and cruise terminal. - Large bathrooms compared to most budget hotels. Updated too. I will miss the bidet when I return home to the US. - Comfortable bed. - Room size was bigger than most budget hotels. Very efficiently designed. - Courteous and helpful staff. - Great value. We reserved 4 rooms for our family of 9.

Older hotel, though all fittings were in excellent condition and very clean. Quiet room, excellent convenience being located close to Yokohama International Passenger Terminal for cruise ships. Staff were outstanding, took time to come to my room to help me find light switches which I embarassingly couldn't see. Restaurant staff at breakfast were super friendly and helpful, breakfast menu items were an excellent standard of presentation and taste. Unbelievable value for money.

I sent 3 emails in advance asking about motorcycle parking. 2 in English, 1 in Japanese. I received no response. Motorcycle parking was not allowed on site and the advice on alternative locations was inaccurate. Very stressful and we would not have booked this hotel had we been told there was no motorbike parking in advance. Poor customer service🎂

Location is perfect, room was tight but comfortable with the best bed yet of our 21 nights in Japan. The espresso machine in the "comfort spec " room was a delight early in the morning, and the BBC subscription on TV was great to catch some non Japanese news and views. The on site parking was terrific and made the hotel a cosy 'home away from home".
