Room a bit small. I will not stay in the room without a view. This time had the seaview room, which is less claustrophobic.

Windows to an alleyway.

Very convenient little hotel next to the port and bus station. Very clean with washing machine available. Host and hostess very helpful, providing take away breakfast as we left on the early ferry. Would stay again.

No elevator could be an issue for some travelers. Also, the bathroom was quite tiny.

The best part of this hotel is the homeade rolls for breakfast! The location was perfect for taking a ferry in the morning, and even though we missed breakfast they gave us a bag with two delicious bread products each.

TV is tiny and perhaps basic as only a few channels in Japanese.

The location was perfect, and the room was cosy and clean. It wasn't noisy, but it's located right by the ferry port, and by the last/first stop of the bus terminal, where you can get the Airport Bus. Also, right by the busy shopping and food areas. Was given the option to have room cleaning but wanted to remain green. Narita, the host, is lovely. She does her best to speak English, but it's best you're clear with her she will do her best to help you. During my stay there was a typhoon, Narita went out of her way to help me even though it was a burden (I'm sure). Its a Guest House not a Hotel so the requirements are a little different.

The host was exceptionally considerate, the inhouse-made freshly baked goods for breakfast were amazing. The location is most convenient next to the bus and ferry terminal, in walking distance to the city's center. The room was nice, clean and rather spacious.

Great loacation just few steps from ferry terminal. very convenient when you plan to visit islands, very close to bus terminal if you want to explore Ishigaki by bus, amazing breakfast - various kinds of home-made bread ( sweet and salty ), lots of restaurants in the surrounding area

Super clean and lovely staying location. I book dive trip at the morning so wasn’t able to enjoy the breakfast every morning. But the day I did I would say is really gooood. The bread is soft and tasty.

Travelers should be aware that there is no elevator so you need to be able to walk your own suitcase up and down the circular staircase, although Narita and her handyman helped me out with this task

This property is a solo female traveler's dream come true. The owner Narita was very kind and accommodating, and her homemade buns and coffee for breakfast were excellent. My room was so quiet that I thought I was the only guest! I chose room 305 which had two single beds and a view of the port. It was very clean. The location is excellent- quite literally a two minute walk from the port, where you get dropped off by the airport bus and can access ferries to the other islands. Shopping and restaurants are right across the street. Excellent value for my travel dollar and I felt totally safe and secure being there on my own

Small window overlooking noisy metal stairs to some other building. People going up and down at all hours. Room very dark.

Location perfect for ferry and bus terminals. Right in the centre. Pleasant welcoming staff.

The woman who runs the place is incredibly kind and makes a nice breakfast daily. The location provided easy access to public transport, and there are several shops and restaurants on walking distance.
