Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SpainThere was no drying rack but listed.. there is no staff.. the building is very dated and smells bad.. loads of stains on the floors and they ask seriously money for it.. I left after the first night because of my heavy backpains. Turns out a 4star hotel was cheaper

IrelandWe saw no staff other than the cleaning lady for our whole stay there and weren't comfortable leaving our keys at reception with no-one to store them safely. The window was sealed shut which made the room quite stuffy. Its a fair distance to the train station if you are carrying bags.
The room had a kettle and a hair dryer and a microwave on the corridor. It was small but clean and had shower amenities and the bed was comfortable.

United KingdomThe room had a smell of sweat that lingered unless you had the AC on. It made me think the rooms were not cleaned well as this seems like something that could easily be fixed. Fine for 1 night but probably wouldn't stay longer.
It was cheap accommodation and what you would expect for the price. Front desk staff was friendly but didn't speak any English so some Japanese knowledge is needed.

ChinaWe can't believe that is a hotel, the hotel name is not illuminated on the street, so it is very difficult to find it, no people at the front desk, no service, the room light not enough so dark, , too noisy, too small toilet, we will not choose this hotel again and wouldn't recommend to our friends, very bad.

United KingdomIt was cheap so I wasn't expecting much, but I didn't realize the designated smoking area would be on the same floor as the rooms, which meant that every room would stink of smoke every time anyone decided to smoke. This is only a good hotel if you are a smoker.

There was a very strong smell of sweat when I entered the room, which wouldn't go after I opened the window and came back hours later, and the toilet seat had definitely not been cleaned properly. Then, noisy, a group of people started talking very loudly in the corridor in the middle of the night (not the hotel's fault but still not helping with the experience...). Location is also not ideal.
