Amazing value for money in Tokushima city

Staff was fairly loud in the dorm room explaining things to guests when I was trying to have a nap

Can't beat this price quality ratio. Honestly wondering how it's this good for the money! Don't expect a 5-star hotel, but everything is clean, well managed and staff is extremely helpful. Free breakfast is the cherry on top!

The beds where quite warm (they are like a closed capsule and they don't ventilate a lot) and the showers quite small. It all feels a bit small for the amount of people.

Nice, cosy hostel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The place has all kinds of nice details which shows love for the place. Laid back and friendly atmosphere.

Very nice place to stay with a good western breakfast. Really closed to the train station and very well located.

    Great little Hostel In Tokushima

I liked the hostel side of meeting people from around the world and sharing experiences. The location is very central with lots of transport connections and restaurants nearby. This was handy for my "Henro" pilgrimage activities. The staff are very helpful. I liked it so much I kept extending my stay as my travel/sightseeing plans evolved.

It was somewhat uncomfortably warm in the dorms. Like everywhere in Japan, bathrooms are quite small. Lockers are only large enough to store a few small valuables, no (small) bags.

Hostel in a good location, close to the station and a conbini. Staff was super nice and helpful. They allowed me to store my luggage while I was walking for a few days, which many hotels will refuse even if you will stay there again. It was nice that there was some breakfast offered for free (although not super filling).

    Nothing to report

A very friendly hostel, good English spoken and the staff were very helpful. A free breakfast is provided (tea, coffee, toast and boiled egg) and the common area is a great place to meet other Henros/pilgrims. Our room was a bit tired but clean and comfortable.

The shower is in a different floor than the room. But this is common practice in hostels. Maybe would have stayed more close to temple 1

It’s a good place to start the 88 route. You can already meet other oil he ins and feel the vibe. The hostal has books and information about it. Staff are very nice.

I wish there was a full heigh mirror in the room and the proper hanger or closet. I feel like the kitchen was pretty small, although i didn't use it.

Location was very comfortable, being close to the main Tokushima station, having easy acces to transport, shopping, restaurants. it was very close to bus terminal, which make walking comfortable for people traveling by bus. Room was also pretty cute for a hostel and this price.

It felt a bit cramped, the building is not as spacious as their sister hostel in Takamatsu, which I strongly prefer, but next time I'm in Tokushima, I'll obviously still stay in PAQ.

Good value, good location, very social vibe with lots of people starting or ending their Shikoku 88 temple pilgrimage there.

The bath was not working at the time of.my visit and the toilet made a weird noise when flushing. The walls are thin - you'll hear everything if your neighbors are a bit loud even in a private room! Also the lack of stairs and only one elevator for six floors means a lot of waiting at times.

The place is in a conveniently located part of town near the station, mall, riverside and nightlife district. The room itself was a standard business hotel room for that price range. The bed was weirdly soft, though. Not a bad thing though. The staff were nice and the shared space had a nice vibe - a shame my stay was too brief to really enjoy it. I wanted that breakfast... Damn ferry... Also they let me keep my bike on the first floor, cool!

The dormitory has many beds for only one toilet/shower, but luckily is those days my dormitory was not full.

I spent two nights along with two friends and made great memories here! The common space is full of books on Shikoku to plan your trip, you can cook and have free breakfast! I think the common space is very well designed to get to know other travellers or simply chill on the sofa. And the staff at the reception is super helpful and fun. Hi Alber :)

    Cosy hostel with great staff
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Bunk Bed in Mixed Dormitory Room

The dormitory beds were quite firm and uncomfortable, as I tend to prefer a softer mattress. Not exactly the most secure hostel (i.e. anyone can walk in from the street and the dormitory door was frequently unlocked) but fortunately this is Japan, so I didn't feel too insecure about my valuables. :)

The hostel is a short walk from the train station and they had super friendly staff there. Great atmosphere in the lobby/common area, with plenty of tourist info about Tokushima and various hiking routes (including the 88 temple route). Good privacy in the dormitory once you've closed your bunk curtain. Didn't try the breakfast though, not sure what it was like!

Bed cubby was a little short. Bed was a bit hard.

The bed cubby was comfortable, bed could be softer. Breakfast in the morning, which was lovely. Very helpful staff. Dorm room had a space for me to do physical therapy which was great. Lost of info in the common area.
