Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaPlease include hand soap. Luggage removal fee expensive. I had a broken luggage that I request to be thrown out. 3000 yen seems expensive for this service.
Included breakfast was good. Very close to public transport. Close to 7/11 which was useful.

United StatesOnly thing is that the room had a funky smell, A/C maybe? Breakfast was good but would have wanted more options for my dietary restrictions
I loved the location! The train is literally right next door to the hotel, super easy transportation especially to the airport. I loved the hospitality they provided, they cleaned your room everyday (bed sheets, pillow cases, provided new amentities everyday, and took out trash) Breakfast was alright, there was a good variety of items. They do provide free beverages and microwaves/oven toasters in the cafe on the 2nd floor which was awesome! Cafe is available to anyone that just wants to hang out Overall, the whole experience was really great!

IndonesiaThe room was cramped but still doable. It seems they give two sorts of pillows. One kind of clumpy and one soft but other than that they are dine. Sometimes had to wait for the elevator due to high traffic sometimes.
I enjoyed the quality service of the staff. the breakfast although didnt have variety from day to day it was more than satisfactory.

This is near to Bakurocho JR station( next door to the hotel) , this is 2 stops from Tokyo main station. It also has 7/11 (next door). Nice breakfast, free tee / coffee /water through out the day. Staff speak good English.?

United StatesRoom was small, but I guess that's typical of most Japanese hotel rooms. The tub was slippery; I had to put a towel on the floor of the tub to prevent slips, falls, and injuries. Elevators really slow.
Breakfast was good. Staff were nice and friendly. 7/11 next to hotel, which was great. I liked that there was 24-hr tea and coffee available in the library. Hotel is right next to Bakurocho train station.

AustraliaThe breakfast price seemed a little steep in comparison other places we stayed at.
There were lots of meal options at breakfast. There was a large eating space and much room. The breakfast staff were on site and very helpful and handy. The site was really close to the train station and to the shops.

United KingdomRoom on the smaller side for 2 people but perfect for a solo traveller. Bed wasn’t bad, but not the comfiest - pillows were a very thin. Had to double up which was fine as it was just me.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Spoke reasonable English and were happy to use translation tool for communication when needed. Room was clean and well equipped. Great location, lots of stations within walking distance to get you anywhere in Tokyo. Quieter, less touristy area which was nice, no noise. Breakfast looked nice with a wide variety, but not many vegan/dairy free options other than smoothie, rice, fruit and veg. Even bread had milk and eggs in. Staff were helpful with providing a food allergy list for what I could/couldn’t eat.

RussiaBit tiny room and crowd at the breakfast, but it's managable, so good in general.
The location was excellent. Two main subway lines that we used to reach every other locations we needed. Green Line's entrance were just under the first floor of the building (no noise, just perfect). There is also 7-eleven which helped us a lot. The Asakusa red line were just in 5 min walk. So we could use subway to go anywhere. For those who arrive to Narita Airport. We used JR Rapid train (paid it with SUICA on apple wallet) and went directly to Bakurocho station (it is just under hotel, so you go Narita - Bakurocho and exit B4 - voila you're at the hotel's doors). Akihabara Electric Town in just 15 min walk. The room was tiny, but clean and they cleaned it every day. Breakfast time was 6:30-9:30. But if you go there by 9 am expect it very crowded. So about 7:30-8:00 is just fine. Google showed me that Asakusa red line goes to Narita on our way back, but it was false. So use the other route or ask around.

IndonesiaThe room, while comfortable, was on the smaller side, which is common in many Tokyo hotels. It was a bit tight for two large suitcases to be open at the same time. Fortunately, we only had a one-night stay here upon arrival in Japan.
The hotel's location is very convenient, close to both Bakurocho and Nihombashi stations, making it easy to get around Tokyo. The self-check-in kiosks were very helpful for a quick and efficient check-in process, especially with the staff's assistance. Who could speak a little bit of english. What really impressed me was the ample storage space for large luggages. We could easily store our suitcases and explore Tokyo with just our carry-on bags, which was perfect for our adventures in Japan. 🧳🛄🚅🚅🚄

AustraliaThey only have one kind of pillow and really hard. I wish there is an option to not get new towels etc everyday. I used the "Do not disturb" sign when we don't need cleaning, but we are still given a set of fresh towels in a plastic bag left by our door. I think they should not do this when the "Do not disturb" sign is up, to save on laundry and water. Would have liked a little bit of variety in the breakfast offering - we stayed for 9 days and got pretty much the same breakfast everyday.
Location is great with access to several train and bus stations within walking distance. Convenience stores, ATM, grocery nearby, lots of options for good local restaurants. Area is also quiet with wide main roads. Close to several attractions. Handy breakfast ready at 6:30 to start the day. Also good to have access to the Library Cafe in the evening for quick dinner or wind down coffee/tea.

AustraliaRooms were tiny and the double beds are too small.
Staff were great. Breakfast was handy and the coffee until 12 midnight...gold! Train station, 7/11 store and a curry joint were also a plus as they were next door, although I'd stay away from the curries as they were rice with a little curry sauce. Sakuya about 400m down the road is a much better option.
