“We loved everything!!! Stayed with my sisters so we have the whole cottage to ourselves! The accommodation itself is well taken care of, despite it being 70 years!!! We only stayed for one night but will definitely come back and stay longer next time. The place was well equipped for cooking, and there's a mini market about 5 mins drive.
I would say it's a good size for family and a group of friends. View-wise you're basically surrounded by well taken care of rice fields! If you love nature and peace and quiet, you won't regret staying here.
We were blessed with a beautiful weather in late June and was able to see the beautiful Hoshitouge rice terraces at sunrise.
Maiko was also well-versed in English so we were able to converse well and gave us lots of recommendations of where to go and what to do in the area.
It's in the countryside so I will definitely recommend renting a car. Can't wait to come back!!!”
“Amazingly charming historical house, maintained by owner with lots of love for every tiny detail. It was a place I’ve never been but I felt melancholic, absolutely a fantastic place to stay. Pity that we spent only for 14 hours in the house.”

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
