  • Hostel Cuore Kurashiki Review score: 8.1

“I really liked how kind the staff was. They were always happy to help and resolved one issue in my room quickly. They also filled up my water bottle every day at the bar. I also loved the location, it was right next to the historical quarter and easily accessible from the train station. There were also many restaurants nearby.”

“Lovely hotel in a great location, perfect for walking and exploring the bikan historical quarter.”

  • Guesthouse Life Field Review score: 8.7

“I thought the location was great. 10 minute walk from the station, and right next to an outlet mall as well as a shopping mall. The historical distance was about a 15 minute walk as well. The apartment was clean, with small cute amenities and decorations that let us really experience staying in a standard, small Japanese apartment. There was a washer/dryer, which was convenient to wash our clothes.”

  • Royal Park Hotel Kurashiki Review score: 8.7

“Great atmosphere. Great hotel. Everything smells so nice. And the bath is very relaxing.”

  • Temari Inn Yukikai Review score: 9.5

“This place is very nice. More like a little apartment than a room at an inn. There’s only one guest room in this inn but it is made up of a large bedroom, a large lounge room area overlooking the historic street, a small landing area at the top of the stairs and a wash basin room all upstairs. Downstairs is the toilet, bathroom and Japanese tub/wash room. Stairs are a bit tricky if you are tall so watch your head. Architecture is very traditional and beautifully done. Place is nicely appointed in minamalist style with local craft furniture and small items. Very quiet and in great location. Staff were very helpful with perfect English.”
