Sadly there is a lot of rubbish in the wadi rum area more widely, although the rum crown camp was very clean

Simply the best in Wadi Rum. Mahmood was a perfect host, we had a wonderful dinner and later we spent some hours with him just talking and playing with cards around the fire eating local sweets and drinking tea. The room was amazing and we also took a walk barefoot around the camp just enjoying the desert. Even if we were the only couple in the camp we enjoyed every moment. We had to spend only one night and it was not enough so we will came back for sure!

Staff was super nice and dinner was very good. We saw sunrise and sunset by around 10 minutes walk from the camp. The room was cozy and water pressure was good. We joined 3 tours with them and the guide Mahmoud was the best (although he made me walk faster all the time). We had a great time there. Highly recommended.

It exceeded all our expectations! We booked at the last minute while sitting in the Visitor Center. They confirmed the reservation within moments, got in touch with us, and Ahmed was already there in the parking lot to pick us up 15 minutes later, where we left the car. It wasn't fully booked, so they upgraded our room, which was super spacious, but the view exceeded everything. They organized a jeep tour for us that same afternoon. Mahmoud was an excellent driver and tour guide; we had a really really great time. We laughed so much that our faces hurt. :) Upon returning from the tour, they welcomed us with an excellent dinner, and everyone found something to their taste. We tried everything from the vegetarian option to the super spicy salad. There was no fault in anything; we know what we're talking about as we work in gastro-marketing. :) And just when we thought our day couldn't get any better, Ahmed and Mahmoud put us in the car and took us to a nearby camp to see how the locals have fun. We ended the day with stargazing, and we've never seen anything like it in our lives. A life-changing experience. Guys, we are incredibly grateful for everything! side note: The icing on the cake was that Ahmed organized a fantastic snorkeling trip for us the next day in Aqaba. Rum Crown is a gem of a stay in the Wadi Rum desert. Situated perfectly to watch the sunset. The camp is everything you could want from a comfortable tent experience. The team working there are extremely friendly and welcoming and will attend to your every need. I did the 8 hour jeep tour and truly cannot recommend it enough - it is a life changing experience. The zarb meal is a total treat. There is nothing to fault with this delightful small and friendly camp

No AC in the room. But it doesn’t matter, because the hottest time is noon, you usually stay outside and on your jeep tour

The owner and staff are very nice, the room is clean and the sheet and towels smell fresh. Hot water is good. There is signal and wifi here. Finally, when they sent me to visitor center, they took me to watch the sunset for free. I was very touched by the view and people here. If my friend comes to wadi rum in the future, I will definitely recommend rum crown

From the start, Ahmed was the perfect host! We were greeted by an open pit fire and quickly settled in. After dinner, we sipped on some tea and waited for the stars to come out. Ahmed then drove my friend and me out stargazing. After talking about the constellations and gazing quietly, we returned to camp. The following morning, we took a gallop through the desert on some Arabian horses, just ask Ahmed and he will set it up for you. He also mentioned some camel and jeep tours. To finish off our trip, Ahmed brought us snorkeling in Aqaba and showed us a shipwreck, tank, and plane that were underwater.

The location is absolutely stunning, Ahmad is a great and friendly host and Mustafa is a great cook. At night its nice and quiet, while maintaining a great atmosphere. Also, superfast internet.

We had an amazing stay at Rum Crown. I would recommend this lovely stay to anyone, and it's mainly thanks to the nice men who run the property; Ahmed and mustafa. we were warmly welcomed and given a free upgrade. In addition, we have experienced incredibly beautiful adventures, such as a hot air balloon ride, a jeep tour, seen stars and seen the most beautiful sunrise and sunset. everything is possible with the gentlemen and they do everything they can to spoil the guests. we have had many local meals at the previous destinations but mustafa surpasses everything. at every meal he managed to surprise us again and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks again, and we look forward to coming back to you!

Everything!We had an amazing stay at rum crown. Our hosts were very cool about everything and made us feel at home. Ahmad picked us from the visitors' center parking lot. He was very prompt and had been waiting for us. Once we met him we knew we were in safe hands. He is a cool and laidback person and has a way with things. One of the best part was that Ahmad had been in touch with us since the beginning and was timely in responding to all our queries regarding the stay. He also gave us a free upgrade on the room, which was very kind of him. We ate the delicious zarb for dinner, prepared with much care by Mustafa. The food was amazing and we got to spend time and chat with the other guests. After a bonfire and tea, Mustafa and Ahmad took us for star gazing to a hill close by. The experience of walking through the dessert at night was blissful! They also arranged our early morning jeep ride with Umar, who was very knowledgeable and keen to share his experience in the dessert. He was also thoughtful enough to give us our own soace and enjoy the ride at out pace. We highly recommend him. Overall, this is the best plce to be if you are planning to wadi rum. You also get a whole tent with an attached bath. It's way beyond expectations in a dessert.
