It didn’t bother us much but it is loud at night. Cat fights, dog barking, motorbikes passing by. Make sure you bring earplugs when you are sensitive to noise. Note: cash only!

Great, simple place. Cute garden, big house, nice shower.

We absolutely fell in love with this place. ❤️ You will enjoy an atmosphere full of love, nature positive vibes. I especially loved waking up and see the palm trees, the blue sky, listening to the sound of birds, sound of nature… It’s gorgeous. You find everything you need in the apartment, the hosts offer their support whenever you need it, the area is beautiful, it’s close to the beach (3 min walking) You calm down, you relax, you fall in love with lovely skip and his family. I am missing this place already 💔. Thanks a lot for this unique experience! xx

A rustic wooden location nestled in between Palm trees and colourful Bourganvilla plants. The property is adorned with arty designs and a room where you can practice yoga and do painting. The property is run by Skip a laid back spiritual person who could pass for one of the Marley's. The simplicity of the property would suit people looking for a quiet location with the beach close by. If you're into Wellness, Yoga, Art and the alternative lifestyle everything is a short walk away. There is an abundance of restaurants for various taste a short walk away.

    I actually liked everything :)

From the moment you arrive, the hosts Sherri and Skip are so welcoming, friendly, and warm. The complex has an African Kenyan vibe about it, with the rustic wooden huts and beautiful gardens. Everything is in walking distance, the long white sandy beach, restaurants and bars. Will definitely be coming back next year.

The communal kitchen could have been better appointed. It was functional and served our needs as we only ever prepared breakfast in it and we dined out for our meals (recommend Diners Delight restaurant in the village).

Fantastic location. Ideal for walking to local beach, grocery shop, restaurant in the village (Diners Delight). The village remains a hidden gem with little tourist development. The owners and staff at Moringa go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The site is secure and quiet. We were there during the rainy season and experienced the November tropical cyclone!! so were unable to use the gardens to their full potential but we did have some incredible storms. Skip was most hospitable and arranged our airport transfer to Montego Bay, at very reasonable cost, in a luxury vehicle

We hope the hammocks will be up again.

We loved Mini Cat...a local wild kitten who we shared our tuna with. We came when my son was two. Now, he's eleven. Skip and his family are so helpful and kind. They can help with anything you need. Including problems with ATM machines that are finicky.

We were so lucky, we booked the regular cabin, but due to a problem in the bathroom, we got to sleep in the treehouse! That place is absolutely amazing! The bathroom is nice, with a hot shower. Waking up in the treetops is wonderfull. It's a very spacious room, we had a great time up there!

    Cozy, lowkey and rustic!

Outdoor shower in the 2 bed chalet doesn't have a light, so the 2 nights we came back around 8pm meant balancing my phone flashlight to have a shower. Not a big deal, but just a heads up. The showers don't have any hooks - that'd be a good addition in the future for towels and clothes. They have a kettle and tea cups in the room, but no tea/coffee, you have to bring your own There was no drinking water, so you have buy some water bottles before you get there.

Property was easy to find via google maps and it was gated, so felt secure with the car parked on the property rather than outside on the street. The property is so well kept, so many fruit trees and seating options and I really loved the outdoor shower under the mango tree. Skip was very helpful, the previous guests had kids, so there was a smaller twin bed in my room instead of a larger double bed, and he quickly made a bed swap for me and it was all very comfortable! I didn't use the kitchen, but it was nice knowing it was there as an option.

Everything was perfect! But Skip said that one day they will build a pool and I think that is great idea! :)))) Thank you guys for wonderful experience!!! 🌴👣🇯🇲 💚💛❤️

Very warm welcome, you feel like home from a first second! The place is beautiful, bungalow is amazing!!! Big, comfy, airy, very clean and super stylish on African way with care of every detail. Someone really put all heart to make it! We sleep in 6 different hotels around Jamaica and that was our best stay! Skip and (Cricked? I am not sure how to write your name sorry!) were super nice and dutiful. There is super cool garden and you can stare at it from your covered by mosquito net terrace and enjoy every evening in this peaceful place :) Beach is like 5 min walk. Oh! There is also yoga room on the property!!! I wish I could stay longer..... 🩷 It's also very safe place - if you are worry... just don't!
