United StatesSignage/access to the lobby. Once you begin descending the stairs to the property, it is very unclear if you have arrived at the destination other than the number 10. We got confused and turned around to go back up but thankfully there was a staff member to show us the way. There is no food available at the property other than small snacks. The website made it seem that there was a restaurant (there is a kitchen which is not employed for dinner service) however there is not food service. One of the selling points to the high price point was that there was a spa (hot tub) and sauna advertised as well as cliff access and ocean-level terrace. When we asked to use the spa, we were shown the way but arrived to find the breaker was off (no power), the water was very cold and the sauna did not have instructions posted. Once we ascended the steps again to ask for the breaker to be turned on, we were responsible for turning on the spa ourselves (no heat) and the sauna operations we fumbled the buttons a couple of times (the on/off button was not labeled after setting the temperature). We were able to enjoy the view a little bit before returning to the room. At night during a storm, there was a very loud banging noise that would occur every hour or so...it may have been a part of the roof or shutter or tree that was slamming into the building, or it may have been the building creaking/settling onto its foundation with the winds, but overall we did not get good sleep at all. Recommendations: mattress pads or toppers for very hard mattresses, complementary bottle of wine or something to justify the high price, better hospitality service for the amenities, cushions on outdoor furniture
The view of course can't be beat, being tucked into the coast/cliff just north of Amalfi. The property amenities also had a beautiful view, being on the terraces. With a necessary early departure (before breakfast hours), the hosts provided a complete "pocket breakfast" or picnic bag with all of the necessary accoutrements which was delightful and a nice perk. The sauna was a very nice amenity which was one of the reasons for booking.

Australiajacuzzi is solar heated, so was cold when we arrived. that was the reason I booked this property, paying more than I would’ve for the facility and accommodating the additional walk into town, and was a big blow after inclement weather meant we hadn’t been able to swim at the beach for our entire trip. no dinner available at the property and public transport was horrific around Amalfi so was quite an inconvenient location overall

United StatesThere are a LOT of steps to get to the Villa. It's not convenient to get to the main city. There is a bus, but it was sometimes full. Taxi is pretty expensive for the short ride. Walking takes about 30 minutes, and there isn't much shade.
The breakfast was very nice, and the hostess was very accomodating.

United KingdomThere are A LOT of stairs to get up to main road, and also down to the private beach. For anyone with less accessibility, this could be a massive issue as there are no other ways to get around. Location is about 30 mins walk to Amalfi town. Unless you take the public bus or pay an expensive taxi, the walk is not so safe as there are not much pedestrian paths.
Beautiful views of Amalfi and the ocean. It was lovely that breakfast was included and we could eat overlooking the views in the morning. Good facilities including jacuzzi and private beach area. Rooms were clean but basic. Bathroom was great!

GermanyThe room itself is not nice. With a door directly looking at the terrace the room did not have any other day light and was quite small. Same is true for the bathroom. The shower was quickly turning into a bathtub as the water was not able to drain away. In addition to that, the shower head holder was broken and the hairdryer has seen better days. The worst thing was that we were ask to pay 35€ for the private parking that nobody informed us about before. The answer was simply “you would anyhow not be allowed to park your car in the street!” well…
The view is stunning and the location at the cliffs is simply amazing! Having a very nice breakfast on the terrace and staying at the private access to the ocean is really cool.

United KingdomThe property is roughly a 10 minute drive away from Amalfi so requires a taxi/boat taxi to get to the centre- This is extremely expensive! The hotel is basically situated on the edge of a cliff so requires an extreme amount of steps up/down to get to the main reception as well as getting up/down to the beach.
The property land was stunning. It includes a hot tub, sauna and private beach area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were so accommodating and kind. When we visited, there were not many people staying at the hotel so it was extremely quiet and peaceful.
