How can I describe such a magic place? The peacefulness, the friendliness, the view and … THE FOOD. Everything was wonderful. We wish we would have stayed longer.

The views from Villa Rica are magnificent, especially those towards the sea and the Aeolian Islands. The room we had and the bed were both very comfortable, the swimming pool so refreshing and clean. The highlight for us was the absolutely delicious meal we had at night sitting outside looking down the valley, and the very friendly and helpful staff - Alfredo, Francesco and Tancredi. Alfredo even drove us back down to the train station the next morning. Villa Rica is a peaceful little haven and very good value. We only stayed one night and could have easily stayed more.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it needs to be updated and maintained a bit better. The appliances in the kitchen definitely need an upgrade and so does the washing machine.

The staff at Villa Rica were very friendly and helpful. The owners, Alfredo and Ciccio made our stay extra special as they were always up for a chat and we got to know them quite well. The pool area is quite big and well maintained. There is a relaxed vibe at Villa Rica and you get to chill out and enjoy the stunning view of the Eolian islands down the valley

nothing, all was good!

this was a wonderful little paradise in the hills, just 10 minutes drive from a crystal clear beach. Owners and staff of Villa Rica were very kind and helpful, dinner was good and atmosphere lovely. we would absolutely recommend to everyone and we would love to come back. Yes, the road up the mountain is bumpy but drive carefully and you will get there without trouble. thankyou for a wonderful stay!

It's a bit rustic and a little challenge to find. Once settled in we relaxed and enjoyed the experience. The staff and owners are wonderful! They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We did not leave and stayed two nights on our way to Taormina. Dinners were such a treat and made us feel like we were in a five star restaurant! Loved the experience!

The location and view were amazing, as well as the friendly and always helpful staff. They helped us out whenever we needed something and offered great service. The beach is just a 10-minute drive if you travel by car, as well as a supermarket.

Everything was perfect

You immediately fall in love with Villa Rica the moment you arrive. The amazing view, the sense of peace, the sense of tranquillity and the sense of calmness is indescribable. The room was superb and super clean, had everything you need - a modern air-condition, fridge, comfortable mattress / pillows, spotless sheets and a fantastic view over the sea to the Aeolian Islands. The pool and deck area are very well kept. The restuarant offers a vast selection of local cuisine and dining on the terrace while enjoying the sunset is a big must. The staff espescially Tancredi, Francesco e Alfredo are really amicable and attentive, they make sure that everything is in place and that you feel at home. We spent 4 nights at this gem and the only regret we had is that we had to leave. We arrived as guests and left as friends See you very soon dear friends and thanks for everything

Maybe I could say, it was quite a long drive to get there.

The ambience was great. It's quite in the middle of nowhere. Haha. It's on top of a small hill. You have beautiful views of the mountains. There is a swimming pool as well, but we didn't have time to go in.

We specifically chose this place because the listing indicated there was a washing machine in the room. This was not the case. The staff were kind enough to wash our clothes, which was great. However, our preference would have been to do our own washing (we are sensitive to strongly-scented soaps and don't use fabric softener). Listing should be updated to correct this.

What a gem of a place in the Sicilian countryside! Everything was excellent, from the beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views, to the very kind and helpful staff, and the excellent dinner in the Villa's restaurant! Highly recommend this place for a taste of Sicilian culture and a peaceful stay.

We paid extra for dinner, but the food was average and overpriced.

We had a really nice time here. Our room (and the whole property) had an amazing view of the sea and Aeolian islands. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The staff is also very friendly and nice.

A secluded stone built olive mill, swimming pool dating back to the 17th century, with a lovely various Fruit garden and views over the sea to the Aeolian Islands.Food in the Restaurant was exceptional .The atmosphere of the restaurant is unbeatable Views ...The Boys Are so Helpful at the property..

Villa Rica, wow! The Villa and rooms are beautifully cured and very clean. We appreciated the amazing, peaceful surroundings immersed by nature overlooking the sea and Eolian Islands. The swimming pool is lovely, we didn't want to leave! Thank you Tancredi and Francesco!
