The only complaint that I can muster after serval minutes of contemplating is the beds as they won't be for everyone due to them being on the hardwood surface, although if you do not mind that then it is an enchanting area to stay within.

During my stay within the property I loved the exceptional detail to continual cleanliness as staff cleaned my apartment while I was away, allowing me to enjoy my holiday while coming back to a freshen up room to relax after a busy day, furthermore the owner of the establishment was extremely helpful providing information on any queries I might have while also providing excellent service during breakfast as there is no particular time frame for customers to eat allowing customers to wake up according to their needs providing the best possible morning for an exhausting day full of adventure. my final verdict on Rate Villa Giuseppe Bernabei Guest House is that it is a wonderful place to stay while on holiday with exertional services, I would recommend this place for anyone planning to visit Italy for their first time in order to receive an authentic perspective of the country! will be coming back here again.

I had an incredibly pleasant time, quiet, calm, alone with nature. Their breakfast was very nice. I love the handmade pies and cakes. Thank you also for Francesca's interest and concern. I can't wait to come and stay here again.

Everything was good. Marino in general is hard to commute without your own car so we rented one. There is a bus stop 10-15 mins walk which isn’t bad

Loved the property itself. Nice and clean. Francesca, our host was amazing and really helpful. We ended up going to few of her recommended places and were not disappointed. Felt really welcomes

Everything was perfect! Francesca is incredibly nice and will help you with any questions you have. The apartment is not big, but it has everything you need and is nice and clean. With daily cleaning and fresh towels if you want. The location is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing, but also close to Rome and the airport. Restaurants nearby where you can also order for delivery. Big parking space within the gate and a lovely pool to swim in and cool off. Breakfast has fresh fruits and homemade cakes, which are really good! And if you don't like coffee, you can get tea or orange juice. :)

The stairs after a long day 😊

The owner is a very helpful and caring person; Francesca and Marco are great hosts We had a great stay. The apartment overlooked the pool directly with a small dedicated area to sunbathe. Every morning Francesca and her lovely sister served us breakfast directly in our breakfast area. Great continental, breakfast, The rooms are clean, equipped with every comfort and considering close still quiet. Each room outside has an umbrella, sun loungers, deck chairs and a outdoor table to enjoy relaxing around the pool or an evening in total relaxation. Nicky the family dog the children and us loved 😀 Local supermarkets are a 20 minute walk or 2 minutes by car Definitely advise a car if you don’t want to hike especially after visiting Rome can be tiring (taxi rides to Rome 40 minutes )very friendly taxi company Francesca recommended very helpful and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you Giorgio Boccali for all the advice around Rome and the challenge to find at st peter's square, the amazing optical illusion! Kids loved looking for it 😀

The sleeping arrangements on the upper floor. It was too hot for us Norwegians; We opted for the sleeping couch (surprisingly comfortable) downstairs instead. We had some tiny ants on our kitchen counter whenever there was some hint of food. We just had to clean a little bit better and more often. No big deal and not Villa Bernanei's fault, just nature doing what nature does.

Villa Bernabei is a calm retreat with the friendliest hosts you can ever imagine. Francesca, Marco and Giulia was so helpful in everything from directions, restaurants, sights and small talk. The grounds are well kept, the pool clean and inviting and the apartments where cleaned every day. The breakfast was served at our own little Covid-designated garden area at the time of our choosing. Francesca’s cappuccino is the best we have ever had. Let's not forget little Niki, she was a joy to play with. The happiest little Maltese in all of Italy...

It was not clearly stated anywhere that the bedrooms are in a loft with extremely low ceilings via a very steep, creaky wooden ladder. I booked a room for my 77 year old Mom and she couldn't access the bed and had to sleep on the couch pullout bed which she found uncomfortable. I also had issues with the stairs due to recent knee surgery. I think that this should be very clearly disclosed for those with accessibility issues. I was in the room furthest from reception and the WiFi was virtually non-existent. I found it odd that I had to pay 20 euros for my 2 nieces (who were staying nearby) to use the pool. Although the cakes made by Marco were delicious, breakfast consisted solely of 2 sweet pastries and a fruit. I am aware that this is fairly typical for Italy - but it's definitely not what I would consider a buffet. There was no hand soap in the bathroom - just a packet of shampoo/body wash though Francesca did bring me some upon request. Room instructions/handbook were only in Italian. The kitchenette had plenty of dishes/cookware but no basic ingredients like olive oil or salt and pepper. Again, Francesca brought some on request - but I would think that would automatically be provided.

Francesca is a wonderful hostess! She went above and beyond by driving a few miles up the road early in the morning of my checkout to look for my wallet that I lost on my way to the airport. The grounds were quiet and beautiful. The room was very clean. I loved all of the outdoor spaces. Ample/easy parking . Nice bathrooms with good water pressure.

Climbing the ladder to access the mezzanine area of the room may be difficult for some (note: we did not have any issues with it).

A home away from home! Francesca is a great host and will make you feel welcome in her beautiful B&B. The rooms come with a living area and kitchen, which may become handy if you are planning a longer stay in the Castelli Romani area. The Villa has a large parking space available to guests. We would love to come back in spring or summer, to be able to fully enjoy the garden area and the pool! Having a friend with lactose intolerance, we deeply appreciated Francesca's sensitivity towards this matter. She made sure a dairy free option was always available for breakfast! Not to mention the amazing dairy and dairy-free cappuccinos.
