I can’t find one bad thing to say about this place and I would be absolutely shocked if anyone found anything bad to say about this place.

The view from the room was something out of a movie. Absolutely stunning. The grounds of this hotel were impeccable. It was nicely manicured with the perfect lemon path. The cleanliness was top tier.

Praiano is a charming, quiet town with exceptional restaurants, and Villa Gianlica made our trip even more enjoyable. The Villa itself is authentic with old charm characteristics, gardens,and pool. All the rooms or suites face the sea. The staff is on top of their game, courteous, outgoing, and very knowledgeable as they are all from the area. Marika, our hostess, Tomaso, and Angelica were exceptional and made us feel so welcome and like family. We will miss them. But only until we return :). If you have a chance to stay at this property, don't hesitate. Chow chow.

Mattress could be less firm.

The property was certainly first class with its beautiful interior, pool and lounge area and its breakfast menu. Every room had a view to the sea and it was quiet and serene.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! It was a joy to open the doors to the balcony every morning and see blue skies and the sea. The room was very clean, had plenty of room and contemporary in design. The location suited us - quieter then Positano and Amalfi so enabled us to relax yet still within easy distance to places along the coastal road. We really liked the landscaping at the property, numerous tiers in the garden with places to sit and relax. The breakfast was excellent with produce from the garden cooked every day. All in all, excellent.

The staff couldn't do enough for us - so helpful and all round lovely! After a long day excursion one of the staff worked after their shift to make us reviving spritzes! Breakfast was exceptional - every day something different incl home-made cakes. Villa is in a perfect location in Praiano between the town centre and the marina. Easy access to bus stops for longer trips and close to great bars and excellent restaurants.

Grounds close early around 8ish, so no sipping vino by the pool and hot tub.

Location, staff and grounds were perfectly ideal. The property is just far enough away from the overcrowded areas of positano and amalfi. The view in downtown Priaino of Positano (15 minutes walk) is gorgeous and personally better than being in Positano.

Several stairs so it was a concern for the luggage but the staff assisted with this.

Authentic local atmosphere and unpretentious. The staff were so helpful in helping us organise private transfers and providing other information as needed. Located in the hub of the local neighbourhood walking distance to wonderful restaurants on the beach - Trattoria Armandino and Il Pirata are a must. Beautiful breakfast where produce from the vegetable garden was used. Very peaceful and tranquil neighbourhood.

Would have liked a bureau with draws to unpack our clothes

View and location were wonderful! Nice and quiet area. Breakfast was just lovely. If you like spectacular views, lemon gardens, hot tub overlooking the ocean and want to escape the other tourists, this is the place for you. We had the upgraded room with a big terrace and it was simply fabulous.

If I had to be picky the only thing I’d say is the bedroom could have done with drawers or extra shelving as my husband & I had to leave a lot of our clothes in the suitcase as there was no where to put them. This wasn’t a problem for us & certainly didn’t spoilt anything!

Couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time on the Amalfi. Peaceful surroundings. Breakfast each morning was 5 star. Located with a gym and bus stop right outside. Marika was so very helpful we can’t thank her enough. Definitely worth your stay!

Nothing, just expect because of location that you do a lot of stair climbing getting around Praiano. We loved it because we are very active.

Our villa had amazing views of the sea and Amalfi coast. With its own private terrace including an outdoor spa pool and indoor shower that opened up to the outdoors too.

There wasnt a bit of a thought about a customer comfort design inside the room. No shelf in the bathroom to put cosmetics etz,, no place to empty the suitcase and hide it in the room, so for 4 days i had 2 suitcases on the floor .. The walls /acoustics were bad No kettle in the room and by 8pm kitchen and service are gone.

Directions from staff could be clearer, but we figured it out - Praiano is very manageable.

Villa Gianlica is a new, modern property created in a gracious Mediterranean style. Two of our rooms had terraces and the third had a patio and private garden. The crowds were TEEMING in Positano and Amalfi but Praiano was a quiet little gem with wonderful restaurants - an ideal place to avoid the crowds. Breakfast here was wonderful on the outdoor terrace and the staff was terrific. They gladly arranged private taxi transports for us to and from Naples. They brought us cocktails by the pool. This was an ideal place to stay on the Amalfi Coast!! DO rent a private boat and cruise along the coast for a full day while you are here!

The room was immaculate and tranquil. The view is incredible from anywhere on the property. Friendly and helpful staff. Offering very nice choices for breakfast including pastries, fruit, and fresh eggs. Several good restaurants nearby for dinner options. 20 minute drive to Positano and town of Amalfi (bus service available). We loved our stay and wish to come back again.

Lots of stairs and no elevator. Didn’t bother us but this isn’t a place for people with mobility issues

The view from the room, the hot tub overlooking the coast and lemon grove. New modern shower room with all necessary amenities (including tooth brush and toothpaste, beach towels, beach slippers , etc). We stayed in the superior room which was very spacious and had a balcony overlooking a magnificent view. Excellent breakfast with coffee and eggs make to order . And of course the excellent staff who took care of all our transaction needs and helped with luggage . We will definitely stay here again

The room was smaller than it appeared in the photos, but was still an enjoyable stay! The outdoor hot tub was amazing and so was the shower!

We enjoyed the staff, view, pool, and the location of the property. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was offered each day!
