Location in a wonderful village with good restaurants nearby including those recommended by the owners . Wonderful family feeling and communication with the owners . Peaceful with wonderful scenery all about . Wifi was very poor dropping in and out but it was probably an external issue

A beautiful property - the room, the garden and pool delightful. We stayed an extra day as it was so peaceful. We had time to enjoy the pool, had breakfast on the lawn just outside the room. Our hosts were lovely people and very helpful.

The towels are a bit flimsy. They could be replaced with thicker and fluffier ones. T he bathroom does not have a window, the ventilation being more difficult. Because of this, after the shower, the room was a bit damp overnight.

Locul este foarte linistit, gradina bine îngrijită și cu un design foarte placut. Seara poti sa savurezi un vin bun in gradina, iar dimineata poti bea o cafea privind peste peluza draguta. The room was very clean and and tastefully furnished. The mattress was excellent. I had a restful sleep. The bathroom was equipped with everything you need. The walk-in shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a very useful glass wall, as the water stays in the shower area.

The kitchen was quite equipped functionally but was missing a few essentials, like oil, salt/ pepper, a kitchen towel, or a small pot. Watch out: I you’re charged an additional 50€ in case you don’t clean it accurately at checkout. There is construction going next door - the owners are remodeling another large villa. The construction noise during the day is quite significant.

Wonderful estate, kept up super well with lots of attention to detail. It’s actually much bigger than one would expect. The owners live in the main building, which is nice. Their English is very well and they’ve got you covered when it comes to recommendations. We had rented an apartment, which is quite useful if you want to cook. Air condition in the apartment is a plus, although we didn’t use it. The village a conveniently located in between Pisa and Lucca. Super nice, but tiny - still everything’s there from a small for very store to a bakery and a pizzeria.

Great location and really quiet. Really well maintained grounds and the pool area is lovely. Visited the pizza restaurant at the end of the driveway and the bakery in the morning for breakfast

Beds are very hard, which I believe may be typical for Italy. Room is not cleaned during a stay, which we knew - but given the price of the accomodation it should be part of the experience. The location is also behind a hill which means that evening sun is not something you will experience. Lots of mosquitos as well which is troublesome.

Beautiful buildings and a beautiful garden. Location is not far from Pisa and Lucca, so its a nice place to have a base.

Huge, fully equipped room. The room had everything and more we needed for the stay. The information provided for the local area was also very thorough. The facilities are beautiful, Villa de Papa is truly a little oasis. Daniela is superb - an amazing stay couldn’t recommend more

I can t find such a thing. Even the bell ringing from time to time at the church next door sounded so good and added extra character to the view.

The yard - omg it looks amazing and so well kept. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, there was a kettle, coffe and hot chocolate. The location is superb, what can i say. It s amazing.

It was perfect

The villa is stunning and luxurious in a beautiful setting with a lovely and thoughtful host. We travelled without a car & all worked perfectly with bus from Lucca- excellent restaurant La Quercia in village plus groceries, pasticceria, chemist. The pool is fabulous. Highly recommended. We will be back. Thank you Daniela and family for a wonderful stay!
