It’s quite expensive to stay there and the pool isn’t heated and it had lots of leaves and bugs in it .

i did get bitten by little bugs by the pool and needed to wear my long pants and shirts during meals in the garden. Not sure what could be done, because you have a villa near the plants and it is a beautful setting. Maybe others didnt get effected by the little bugs. Maybe it was just me- but i couldnt use the pool - they loved me.

Stunning place, it’s even better than it looks in the pictures. Beautiful pool, the views are amazing, and the staff - just wow. Everyone we met was so attentive and friendly, and we loved every second. Our room was adorable and the restaurant served delicious food, including the breakfast which was great. Will absolutely be back.

Nothing about the property or the staff. the only thing that would make this place better in my opinion would be to make it for adults only. i am not anti-family for sure, but for the price of excellence it would be nice not to hear crying kids periodically while resting or relaxing. it was not horrible but just an annoyance for me. Although you do not need a car, this property is best suited for one if you want to come and go with convenience otherwise taxis are good.

This place is the quintessential Tuscany Villa. it is set among trees and vines on top of a hill with fantastic views of the country side. parking is on property, and the staff was fantastic. the restaurant on site was so good we ate there three of our four nights. it was just too nice of a place to leave in the evening. Breakfast was typical Italian buffet with many choices. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas (the outdoor seating is like sitting in a garden and absolutely beautiful) but, even more special, you can basically eat anywhere you want that has seats. the courtyard, the pool or the seating areas outside your individual rooms. Our room was gigantic and had a terrace of its own for us to sit and relax. We stayed four nights and wished to had stayed longer.

Great location for 2 nights exploring Tuscany and Montepulciano! We stayed in the 2BR cottage and enjoyed every minute. aC worked flawlessly and the space was perfect for my wife and I and our 2 children. Highly recommend to be very close to Montepulciano and also to get away from the busy town to an amazing pool with amazing views. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was too!

Loved everything, just be mindful it’s a little bit out of the town , a short drive , but there are limited taxis.

Such an amazing hotel , with excellent views , a great pool, fantastic restaurant (the steak with truffles so good !) and really such wonderful staff. My wife and I Celebrated our honeymoon here and we had such a great time , highly recommend staying here

No transport options into Montepulciano so had to drive each time, couple of days with leftover wedding party which was not too bad but did make the pool area a little noisy

Overall it was an incredible stay. It feels like you are in your own private villa. The staff were incredibly attentive and they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Fully deserved 10/10.

The water in the shower was very temperamental, the water would often turn cold (not the worst thing as it was very hot outside)! The air conditioner in the room also didn’t work properly, we would come back after spending a day in the pool and the room was hot, it would also turn off throughout the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. the maintenance man was notified about both however the issue was not resolved.

Staff were all super friendly, our room was really nice and very clean! The grounds were stunning, restaurant for breakfast and dinner was also really delicious. Pool was a perfect temperature.

This villa was absolutely stunning. Breathtaking views across Tuscany. Our room was lovely, traditional and very comfortable. Our hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to cater for us. The food was delicious and prepared with love and pride. We will return to Villa Cicolina on our next visit to Italy! 🥰

Beautiful spot in 16th century Villa. Very unique place. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Rafaela at the front desk was fantastic in helping with every request. The restaurant had exceptional food for dinner, including the best truffle pasta we have ever had!
