The only minor quibble was the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. This was improved by getting extra pillow each, but was definitely not too bad. Otherwise I couldn’t fault it.

Really great location / directly opposite the main Taormina bus station - buses straight to the airport and the hop on hop off buses easy reach. Walking to the Main Umberto high street is only 5 or so minutes and the cable car down to isola Bella is closer still. We had a superior room with balcony and the view was incredible. The breakfast for 10 euros a day was very nice and the home made cannoli were to die for! Salvatore and team were so friendly and welcoming and gave some great tips on what to do around town.

Fantastic hotel right beside the main bus terminal and within easy walking distance of the main areas of Taormina as well as the cable car down to the beach. Great value for money and very clean, the balcony view of the sea was superb. Cant praise the staff enough, they were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony was spectacular! Salvatore was so helpful throughout our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Taormina!

The staff were amazing especially Salvatore and Mauru. I was really worried about arriving after 20:30 in the evening as the check in closes at that time and I’d be stuck in front of locked doors. Salvatore though sent me a code and detailed instructions for a key safe which he would put on the outside of the door so that I could get in.

Nothing really. The Villa doesn't offer a lift yet, which can be a problem for some people but the staff kindly helps you with your luggage.

Villa Astoria is a beautiful villa dating back to the end of the 19th century and has been in the family of the owner for several generations. The rooms are clean and some of them have a seaview. The service by the staff and the owner is perfect . A stay at Villa Astoria offers more than a stay in a big, modern hotel. It offers you a glimpse of 19th century Taormina.

The hotel is perfectly and centrally located. It is opposite a square from where the buses arrive and depart. It is close to the cable car to go to the beach and about 5 to 10 minutes' walk to the city centre. The breakfast is extensive and well taken care of (with beautiful seaside view😍). Clean room with good facilities. But above all, the friendly staff will make your stay at Hotel Villa Astoria pleasant. They are happy to give you information on what to do in the area and where to eat.

The hotel is in a perfect area which is very close to Taormina’s center and also right in front of the bus terminal. So, if you get by bus the hotel is right in front of it making it so much easier to travel. The ones behind the reception are so friendly and as soon as we arrived they gave us a map and showed us the main attractions without even asking them. They are also good in talking english and also very clean. There is also the dog Lucy which is so cute and friendly! ♥️♥️

The room got quite hot each morning with the sun hitting the windows but there was aircon so it wasn’t a big issue. Parking the car at the hotel was quite expensive

I did feel like the floor was not entirely clean (a bit sandy) when I first entered the room as i do like to take off my shoes while indoors.

Salvatore is such a sweet and lovely host. He helped in a lot of ways and even when he wasn't around the staff at the front desk was really pleasant and willing to help out with a friendly smile

Location was great. A short walk from central town where all the restaurants and shops are and across the road from the main bus terminal so excellent if you are travelling with luggage and are only in town for a couple of days.

it was all perfect

beautiful place near to the city center and across from the bus station, yet quiet at night. room was smaller but very clean and good equipped. comfortable bed and stunning view of the sea. they gave us a map and many useful tips on where to go and what to see. the hosts were so nice and kind. loved the dog as well. walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor.
