This is a beautiful villa in the lovely scenery in Tuscany, with a hidden swimming pool. Every room and apartment is different. The management is an Italian successful artist that runs the villa with his wife. We have never felt so welcome in amazing Tuscany, next to wine farms and olive fields. We’ll be back soon.

We are very thankful for an amazing experience! The villa is absolutely stunning, full of authentic charm and beauty. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and genuinely wonderful people. We had warm and interesting conversations, enjoyed delicious breakfasts, and felt incredibly welcomed throughout our stay. The villa it is something unique, has many different rooms and full of pieces of art. The location is perfect- close to Florence, and other attractions. Definitely will come back again!

The villa is unqiue, magic place, with a lots of art and design. It has a marvellous garden with pool and fantastic view. Don't expect new polished things, but a unique creation and combination in inspiring setting. Giovanni, thank you so much for everything, it's been amazing!

We could not fault our stay at Villa al Ponte and would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area.

Breakfast was excellent. Homemade and so much nicer than the standard breakfast one gets in modern hotels. Giovanni was very happy to provide breakfast at 06.00 even though h had waited up to greet us the night before until 00.30. Giovanni has restored an old house with great style and flair, to create a unique place to stay. Our bedroom was charming, the bed very comfortable and the modern shower very good. Giovanni was the perfect host who took care of us very well indeed.

We really enjoyed the stay at the villa - thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality and and brilliant tips for places to visit in the area. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! Giovanni was so wonderful and attentive, he even gave us a free upgrade and we had the whole place to ourselves! It was like staying in a museum with all of the fascinating art and sculptures everywhere. We had a fantastic room with a really cool bathtub and a terrace that led to the rest of the garden and the pool. Giovanni even called around to find a place open for dinner for us and prepared a huge and delicious breakfast. There were really thoughtful touches in the rooms too, for example there were slippers in the bathroom so you didn't slip and even bubble bath. We had such a fantastic time and will definitely come back with our whole family next time!

The best guesthouse we have ever stayed in. Giovanni and Agnes are amazing hosts. They are soooo welcoming, make delicious breakfast and give good recommendations. The stay at the villa was a unique experience for our family. A magnificent combination of the atmosphere of an old villa, a quiet corner of nature and the hospitality of the hosts. We stayed in large apartments. The villa is filled with art and antique furniture, every day we found something new and beautiful.
