Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere is nothing we would change about Villa Agostina and our stay there. The Villa is in a peaceful and tranquil rural location and a car is therefore essential. However, local shops and beaches are no more than a 5 or 10 minute drive away and the city of Olbia is 15 minutes away.
Everything about Villa Agostina was exceptional. From breakfast and evening meals on the terrace over looking the beautiful pool, vineyard and valley to the beautifully constructed and decorated accommodation. We spent four nights at Villa Agostina as part of a longer holiday to Sardinia but wished we had chosen to stay there for our entire holiday. Francesco and his staff could not do enough to ensure that our time with them was as enjoyable as possible and we felt like we were leaving as friends when we sadly had to depart. We hope to return soon!

DenmarkI am so grateful that we spend the whole week in Villa Agostina. The place is truly magical, surrounded by the wineyards. The apartment was super clean and Francesco and his amazing crew made us feel like home. Try Francesco’s dinner while you are in Villa Agostina, as that was the best dinner in my life 🙏🏻 Vegetarian option friendly 🌱 We wish to come back as soon as possible, as it made our holidays special and every evening we wanted to come back to our Villa and watch the sunsets 🌅

United KingdomWe loved absolutely everything about Villa Agostina - the views over the vineyards and surrounding countryside and sunsets were simply stunning. The pool area and rooms are all beautifully designed and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby beaches and towns and it’s just a few minutes drive from Olbia airport. Our stay at Villa Agostina was the perfect end to our holiday and we are already planning a return trip!

We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Agostina in Sardinia. The villa is surrounded by breathtaking vineyards, and the setting is truly picturesque. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the evening lights make the place feel magical. What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality — everyone was incredibly kind, treating us with such warmth and care. We were also fortunate enough to enjoy the owner's culinary creations, which were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Villa Agostina for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming retreat!

GermanyVilla Agostina is an outstanding, magical place close to Olbia. It’s a beautiful accommodation with only few rooms which is surrounded by vineyards. Even though it’s only 10 minutes from the airport, it’s a very quiet and peaceful place. You definitely need a car to drive to Olbia/the beach etc. The dinner which is offered was the best we got during our Italy trip: Francesco himself cooked a very fresh and delicious 4-course menu with high-quality seafood. On top, the tasty wine from their own vineyards and homemade limoncello was served. We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back! Thank you Francesco & team for the wonderful days we spent at Villa Agostina.

United StatesThe property is incredibly beautiful and the views of the surrounding countryside and vineyards are wonderful. Francesco has spent five years designing and building this place (which just opened in May 2024), and he does it all—hosts, makes the wine, cooks the delicious food, (including fresh homemade pasta) and plays tour guide by answering any questions you might have. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

The host Francesco was very kind, he and the employees made sure that everything was perfect. The location of Villa Agostina was perfect, it was near Olbia but in a very peaceful area. Villa Agostina was beautiful, not only were the rooms nice and luxurious, the whole accomodation was gorgeous. The pool with the bar was calm and relaxing and the view was awesome. We also highly recommend to have dinner at Villa Agostina. We ate there two evenings and the food was amazing! In short, we had an amazing, relaxing and peaceful stay and hope to come back one day!

If you are looking for a paradise holiday in Sardinia, then Villa Agostina is what you need. Everything was 10/10 - beautiful property at the middle of a vineyard, an amazing owner and staff that make you feel so welcome, beautiful spacious rooms, beautiful swimming pool and the sunsets there are just unreal 😍. I cannot recommend Francesco’s property enough! We stayed for 3 nights in this peaceful paradise and we will definitely be coming back!!! The place is very close to Olbia as well as Porto Istana beach. You need to be driving to get to places because the taxis are quite expensive but this place is definitely worth it! I think this will be our summer getaway in the future! Cannot wait to be back! Aaah forgot to mention… Francesco is an amazing cook, we had some delicious homemade ravioli and you can also try the tasting menu with local food and locally produced wine! All this while enjoying the sunsets 🌅 Thank you Francesco and see you next year!

GermanyEverything was perfect and we were very sad to leave this place
We lack the words to describe our joy from staying at Villa Agostina. From the beginning to the very last minute of our stay, Francesco (the host) and his team were extremely attentive to us. Our flight was delayed by an hour and a half, but there were no issues with check-in upon arrival. What a pleasure it is to be at a villa where quality is prioritized over quantity. Francesco built the villa himself and thought of every detail: the ambiance, the relaxation area, the pool, the privacy, the tranquility, and the delicious dinner, which was prepared by Francesco himself, leaving no one indifferent. Villa Agostina is a perfect place to relax and switch off your mind. You feel like you are in a parallel dimension—among the vineyards, away from everyone, watching the sun set behind the mountains. Everything was wonderful. We simply dissolved into this place. A big thank you to Francesco's mother Antonietta, Fiorella, and, of course, Francesco himself for this unforgettable time spent at Villa Agostina. We will be back!!!! If it were possible, we would rate this place a 20!!!!! And we definitely recommend everyone to visit this place!!! By the way, we read reviews from other guests and were surprised by the minor complaints. Communication is key!!! If you have any questions or preferences, address them to Francesco. He has no unsolvable problems and will understand how to help you. A little tip: if you plan to have dinner at Villa Agostina, reserve your dinner at the reception desk as soon as you arrive.

Villa Agostina offers an incredible location nestled among vineyards in a quiet and beautiful area. The stunning pool and delicious breakfasts, both sweet and savory, made on-site, stand out. The entire Villa is designed with attention to detail, making it a truly exceptional place. In the bar I recommend you to try their excellent local wine, Vermentino. The property is run by wonderful people - Francesco and his team are amazing! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
