Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesBreakfast was excellent. Room was small, but expected for a hotel in Europe. Location was nice set in a bucolic and serene setting. But difficult to get to by public transportation.

GermanyYou cannot really reach Valdobiaddene by foot. The short route is too dangerous, and the safe one is too long, hot and hilly. There is no taxi service, so if you don't want to drive UI, this really can limit your experience of visiting this place. If there are a lot of guests (I think it's normal on the weekends) staff can got overwhelmed with orders during breakfast and this can lead to some unpleasant experiences. There are no etiquette regarding the EV chargers: other guests block them with their IC cars, bikes, or just leave their PHEV cars attached for the whole day. Also the hotel states that the have two suites, but they are actually just big rooms, so if you travel with kids and mind them in your room, it's better to book them a separate room.
This by far is the best hotel where I ever stayed. Obviously, it's not a 5 star chain hotel, but they definitely aim for the same service and, considering their size, they are doing pretty good. The location is very nice, you're located on top of the hill from where you can observe vineyards and in brisk weather you can even see the sea. There are a few wineries and nice osterias nearby, that you can reach by foot. The breakfasts a la carte are hearty and very delicious. There are plenty of parking spaces and even two free EV chargers. But the main advantage of this hotel is their staff. They really go above and beyond in their attempts to improve your stay.

CroatiaThis was one of the best experiences ever! We stayed in newly renovated Junior Suite and it was very comfortable and clean. Position of hotel is amazing, breakfast is exceptional, but the highlight was their staff. The front desk through breakfast staff and cleaning team they were all sensational! That is something you should experience while staying at the Prosecco valley. Amazing! Lea&Slaven

PolandThere's a little too much hassle about the breakfast, you don't get a selection of foods in a buffet but you have to ask for everything specifically and not everything is in the menu. It would be much easier if the basic things that don't need to be cooked fresh were available as a small buffet. I didn't feel comfortable having to ask for marmelade, orange juice, yogurt, cereals, one day I got the set of marmalade/honey mini jars, the other day I didn't, one day I got the biscuits, the other day I didn't and I wasn't sure if it's just the way the breakfast is composed the said day or they just forgot to serve some things.
Very cute, clean little hotel with a stunning view, rooms are very clean and comfortable although rather small. The staff is super polite and helpful. Good breakfast exceeding the typical Italian coffee and brioche.

Czech RepublicThe place ln the hillside with the views over the wineyard. There is a beautiful terrace where the breakfast is served. The breakfast itself was deliciius, you can order anything from the menu, they do an excellent omellete and all the sweet dishes were also perfect. The locatiin is very good, close to many Wineries where yiu can go for a tasting. It is 25 minutes walk to Valdobbiadene main square. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were one of the most comfortable ones we have ever experienced.

AustriaOverall an excellent stay but a few things to nitpick about: I booked the junior suite and kind of expected a better functioning air conditioner. some suggestions for the owners: An additional mirror not just in the bathroom would have been good and more hooks in the bathroom to hang up clothes/towels.

IsraelThe room was disappointing; We had upgraded to a junior suite and the room we were offered was narrow dark and claustrophobic. Fortunately we were able to change to a room in which the bed was in the attic up a flight of stairs. It felt a lot better but still quite dark .None of the rooms have a balcony (but that is clear from the pictures)
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The welcome drink in the garden with a view over the vineyards. Breakfast was served to the table in the garden .Generous and varied choice for breakfast which was the highlight of our stay. Note that the hotel is on the outskirts of the town .Easy covered parking .
