Tiziano maintains his property in excellent condition and is an extraordinary host. It is the first floor one-bedroom apartment of his own home, where he and his wife both live. It is well-equipped as if they were living in the apartment rather than guests such as ourselves. It is a short walk to the ferry, the train station and to the town square.

Owner is the best! There isn’t anything hard for Tiziano to help His guests to spend best holidays at Lago Como. The apartment is really nice and cosy in great location. Parking spot in garage.

Tiziano is so lovely. He met us at the station and took us back there when we left. He was so friendly and gave us good recommendations. He also provided a complimentary basket of goodies including wine which was really lovely. The apartment is well equipped and spacious. It's also really conveniently located. It was a heat wave when we were there and having the shutters closed in the daytime made the place nice and cool although there is also air conditioning in the bedroom

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Tizi’s house was absolutely phenomenal! The service and amenities were perfect. Tizi gave us a tour of the property and provided excellent information as to locations to visit and restaurants. He recommended a seafood restaurant that was on par with the service Tizi provided. Would 10/10 recommend as the house is also located nearby to everything!

Wish I could have streamed Apple iPhone to TV to pass time during rainy afternoon.

Everything was fantastic. Excellent communication with Tiziano before, during, after our 3-night stay. Helped us arrange arrival transfer (we were met at the train station 2 minutes away and driven to the house where he introduced us to our accommodations, locks, etc.). He arranged transfer to BGY, but when the driver became sick, Tiziano drove us himself! The apartment is quiet, clean, and well-stocked. Water in the fridge when we arrived was deeply appreciated. The washer and drying rack were essential to allowing us to pack in just a carry-on for two weeks. Air conditioning was strong and chilly, how we like it. The location is perfect, just on the edge of the hustle-and-bustle. Walking distance to restaurants and shops in Varenna. Small market around the corner has delicious sandwiches!

Location is excellent - away from the hotels and restaurants, but a short walk to the lake. Apartment was spotless and Tiziano was a marvelous host. He met us at the train station and provided lots of information about the area, as well as a bottle of wine. So glad we chose Tizi House!

10/10 Host met us at the train station. He was very nice and helpful. We asked about extra bed sheets and got them very quickly. The property had everything we needed and even more -free bottle of wine, water, jams, toasts, hand soap, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, liquid soap for washing machine. It is very clean and very well made apartments. Good location.

Had a great stay at Tizi House for 3 nights. Great location and everything was clean and comfortable. Very much appreciated the ride to and from the station, and Tiziano was flexible when my flight was cancelled and plans changed.

Thank you Tiziano for a warm welcome to his place! The room was clean and conveniently designed. The location was great, in a walking distance to everything. He has a booklet of recommendations for things to do, where to shop and eat. He picked us up and sent us off, saving us a lot of trouble dragging our luggages to and from the place. We had a nice stay and highly recommend the place.

Tiziano was a wonderful host. He greeted us as the train station with a big smile and very generously gave us a lift to Tizi house. He gave us a very informative tour of the flat and told us how to navigate the town, recommending restaurants, telling us where was expensive etc. We took all of his recommendations and had the most beautiful time. We hope to book Tizi house again in the future- Thank you Tiziano

Outside of having to leave? Nothing.

The family picked us up at the train station, let us in the house, showed us around and gave us suggestions for places to eat as well as timetables for the Lake's boats. Tizi helped us set up dinner reservations for one of our nights in town - no easy feat given how heavily touristed the Como area is in October. The facilities were sizable. Kitchen had everything we needed, so I picked up some stuff from a local store and cooked a meal or two. Shower was nice and large. Bed was comfy. Washing machine was up to the task of keeping our traveling clothes nice and clean. The house is located maybe 5 minutes, perhaps 10 from the beautiful lakeside walkway into "downtown". So everything is a fairly short, scenic walk away. And when at Tizi House, you are away from the arriving waves of fellow tourists. The noisiest it got was the neighbor's child kicking a football about next door. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Tizi House and would definitely stay again/recommend to friends and family.

Heating system was remotely controlled and it switch off automatically at night which is bit inconvenience in cold weather especially when you wake up temperature is not warm enough.

The property is ideally located very close to ferry terminal and city center. Host were very welcoming, explained everything and allowed to leave our car for few hours after check out. Car park was a big plus. All amenities were provided.

Perfect location, super clean and well appointed (kitchen, bathroom) all around. But, the cherry on top is the host. Tizi, picked us up from the train station, made sure we were settled and comfortable, provided recommendations for activities and food and, most importantly, helped to arrange transportation to the airport in Milan when the trains were cancelled due to a last minute strike. I can't say more about the overall experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mr Tizi was exceptionally warm, friendly and welcoming. He transported us to and from the station which was very much appreciated. He explained what to see in the area, supplying appropriate maps/timetables etc. The home was very clean and comfortable and well located near the ferry terminal. Having use of the washing machine was also very appreciated. He communicated promptly to my texts regarding arrival time. We highly recommend this accommodation in Varenna and hope to go back in the not too distant future.
