Location is excellent - away from the hotels and restaurants, but a short walk to the lake. Apartment was spotless and Tiziano was a marvelous host. He met us at the train station and provided lots of information about the area, as well as a bottle of wine. So glad we chose Tizi House!

10/10 Host met us at the train station. He was very nice and helpful. We asked about extra bed sheets and got them very quickly. The property had everything we needed and even more -free bottle of wine, water, jams, toasts, hand soap, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, liquid soap for washing machine. It is very clean and very well made apartments. Good location.

Had a great stay at Tizi House for 3 nights. Great location and everything was clean and comfortable. Very much appreciated the ride to and from the station, and Tiziano was flexible when my flight was cancelled and plans changed.

Tiziano was a wonderful host. He greeted us as the train station with a big smile and very generously gave us a lift to Tizi house. He gave us a very informative tour of the flat and told us how to navigate the town, recommending restaurants, telling us where was expensive etc. We took all of his recommendations and had the most beautiful time. We hope to book Tizi house again in the future- Thank you Tiziano

Outside of having to leave? Nothing.

The family picked us up at the train station, let us in the house, showed us around and gave us suggestions for places to eat as well as timetables for the Lake's boats. Tizi helped us set up dinner reservations for one of our nights in town - no easy feat given how heavily touristed the Como area is in October. The facilities were sizable. Kitchen had everything we needed, so I picked up some stuff from a local store and cooked a meal or two. Shower was nice and large. Bed was comfy. Washing machine was up to the task of keeping our traveling clothes nice and clean. The house is located maybe 5 minutes, perhaps 10 from the beautiful lakeside walkway into "downtown". So everything is a fairly short, scenic walk away. And when at Tizi House, you are away from the arriving waves of fellow tourists. The noisiest it got was the neighbor's child kicking a football about next door. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Tizi House and would definitely stay again/recommend to friends and family.

Heating system was remotely controlled and it switch off automatically at night which is bit inconvenience in cold weather especially when you wake up temperature is not warm enough.

The property is ideally located very close to ferry terminal and city center. Host were very welcoming, explained everything and allowed to leave our car for few hours after check out. Car park was a big plus. All amenities were provided.

Perfect location, super clean and well appointed (kitchen, bathroom) all around. But, the cherry on top is the host. Tizi, picked us up from the train station, made sure we were settled and comfortable, provided recommendations for activities and food and, most importantly, helped to arrange transportation to the airport in Milan when the trains were cancelled due to a last minute strike. I can't say more about the overall experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mr Tizi was exceptionally warm, friendly and welcoming. He transported us to and from the station which was very much appreciated. He explained what to see in the area, supplying appropriate maps/timetables etc. The home was very clean and comfortable and well located near the ferry terminal. Having use of the washing machine was also very appreciated. He communicated promptly to my texts regarding arrival time. We highly recommend this accommodation in Varenna and hope to go back in the not too distant future.

Tizi’s house is amazing. The location is perfect - a short, flat walk to the centre of Varenna. The actual apartment is spacious and super clean, as are the grounds of the house. The facilities are excellent and there is even a washing machine. Tizi is an exceptional host and went out of his way to help us with suggestions of places to go and where to eat. He even picked us up from the train station. We have been travelling through Europe for the past month and this property is number one on our list. Thank you Tizi

We had an amazing time staying in Tiziano’s place in Varenna. This spacious and well-equipped apartment provided the perfect base for us to explore the local area. It was only a few minutes walk from the centre of town, but far enough out to be away from the crowds when you wanted. We also really appreciated the pick up and drop off at the train station at either end of our trip - it was lovely to meet Tiziano and we will certainly recommend this place to anyone staying in Varenna!

Ideally located a short distance midway between Varenna rail station and Varenna ferries. Makes it ideal for trips out to Bellagio, Menaggio, Bergamo, etc. Sited just outside Varenna itself, which is good as the village can be busy and noisy in the summer. Apartment had a well equipped kitchen and aircon in the bedroom. Ideal set up for 2 people. Place was clean and tidy and furnished very well. Tiziano and his wife live upstairs but are not intrusive.

Tizi House is a 10 out of 10! Fantastic host, great location, near to town but very quiet. Everything provided by Tiziano, including a bottle of bubbles! It felt like home, separate bedroom, good sized lounge and kitchen area, fantastic shower and a washing machine. We highly recommend.

The bed could use an update along with the pillows-however I do have back & neck issues so it could just be me.

The apartment was impeccable and Tiziano made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived (even met us at the ferry to drive us the 5 mins to his place) totally unexpected! He emailed us the day before our arrival to warn us about the train being cancelled due to a landslide and informed us of alternate plans the train company offered. Tizi explained everything about the apartment and even had snacks, water, breakfast goodies & a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! He made great recommendations for dinner, pizza, groceries and sightseeing and labeled everything on a map for us!
