The was extremely difficult to flush the toilet and we ended up using a large bowl full of water to clear the toilet

If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. The garbage collection comes in the early morning hours (as almost everywhere 😁)

The host Antonella was very kind and welcoming. The room is basic, exactly as shown in the picture. It's part of a lovely and well lived in home where you can freely use the kitchen and communal balcony with lovely sea views. The room and communal area were very clean and fresh towels and bedsheets could be requested at all times. There's a fan in the room and free beach towels and umbrellas to borrow during your stay. Communication was easy, either in person or via WhatsApp. I felt very safe and comfortable and will definitely be back next time I'm in Sicily! 💚

Dolphin guesthouse is a very cosy B&B with a great location. Our host was super friendly and helpful and gave the best restaurant recommendations. Very close to the transportation to the beach and overall good standard for such a great price. Recommend staying here if you want a real bargin.

The only downside was our room didn’t have AC just a fan - which we knew going in so nothing on the host but summer heat made it unbearable. Would recommend booking one of the rooms with aircon :)

The hosts were so lovely and accomodating. Complimentary snacks and filtered water were amazing. They were so kind and helped us, felt like a home away from home. Location was excellent - couldn’t be better! Balcony was beautiful and fully equipped kitchen was so handy.

It was hotter than usual when I was there, so the lack of AC made sleeping a bit difficult. There was a fan in the room, but it was too noisy for me.

This guesthouse is excellent value for money. It's comfortable, clean, safe and well-located. The owner let me keep my bags there for a few hours after check-out, which was extremely helpful! The view from the balcony is beautiful, and the free snacks are a nice touch. There's also plenty of filtered water available, as well as cooking facilities and a fridge. The WiFi worked well too.

Dolphin guesthouses really gave me time to spend my real vacation. The sea view, the wind, and the peaceful atmosphere made me think about visiting Taormina again next time. Thank you so much to the kind Antonello and Anna. They made me feel comfortable during my stay. And even before I arrived at the accommodation, Anna already gave me sincere and sincere answers. Thank you so much. And I requested breakfast and ate it, which was much more special and wonderful and delicious than any other hotel. Thank you Antonella for your sincerity in preparing breakfast. Nothing on Antonella or the room but the heat was unbearable (32C) so I had the fan on all the time I was in the room.

I loved the location - super close to the bus stop from the train station, porta Messina and the cable car station all within 5 minutes walk. The room was spacious and comfortable. Antonella was also super friendly, I loved her little touches (fresh water in the room and cold filtered water always available for free, beach towels available and free shampoo in the bathroom) and all her recommendations for dinner were amazing!

Possibly too many possessions but that only added to its charm.

It was so homely and the hosts had considered a travellers needs. Close to centre without being in it. Had full use of kitchen and small balcony. The views were wonderful. The host supplied along with the usual things, beach towels, drinking water, condiments, tea/coffee/sugar. If you like the “hotel” look this is not for you but if you would rather a home from home, have ability to cook and relax and dont mind a bit of clutter, like to walk/hike then this is ideal. I loved it. Bus and shop around the corner.

An iron in room, we kept missing Ana to grab a communal one from other rental. There is laws about using only in a common area.

I have no complaints whatsoever!

When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the very friendly Antonella who explained everything and gave me a map of the wonderful town of Taormina. I had a single room with seperate but private and clean bathroom, I could use the communal living room and kitchen, and the balcony was perfection itself: a great view and a blooming tree under it that produced a heavenly orange flower scent. You can't have a better spot to drink your morning Bialetti coffee! It felt like a very cosy, friendly home. I loved everything about this place! The location was very close to the main street, but in a small street so the nights and mornings were very quiet. The view from my room was just the street, but who stays in their room if they can have... the perfect balcony! <3 Very good value for money!

The living room is untidy. The kitchen and fridge is full of old food stuff. Central heating in the guest rooms is not warm enough (Radiator too small).

The studio apartment is excellent, great location, the balcony is superb, the view is great, beyond the words can describe. On the balcony there are tables, chairs and sun loungers so you can spend you rest time enjoying the view of the sea. The apartment is well equipped, it was everything you need. Ana is great host, her recommendations for restaurants were excellent. Our stay was enjoyable, with such a great accommodation it was easy to enjoy beautiful Taormina.

The house is cluttered with different stuff. It is not pleasant to stay in common areas because of the disorder and cacofonia of things everywhere. It was hard to find a clean place in kitchen to cut the food. Im very sorry that such a beautiful place is so messy and dirty, it could be wonderful without piles of things.

The place is located wonderfully: very close to the center but in a quiet small street with a beautiful view from the balcony. The room was small but cozy.
