Our host Doreen was very friendly and welcoming. The garden surrounding the property is vast and well tended. The pool and Jacuzzi are great and the BBQ in the olive garden has everything one needs. We will definitely come again.

The place have amazing view, beautiful gardens, wine is delicious. The location is great it is very near by car to a lot of small and big cities. The host is great recommended restaurant and sites to visit. I highly recommend the place. There is a small warm inside swimming pool, so even if the outside pool is cold, you can can enjoy the sun and use the small pool.

Nothing to criticize at all.

Everything was absolutely beautiful--the grounds, the pool, the views, the apartment (Fusi), the staff. Doreen and Samantha were there to cater to your every need and were both so kind. The A/C was not turned on for the season but I am a hot sleeper so Doreen went into town and bought a fan for me to use. I loved everything about this place and wish I could have stayed longer to have a few days to stay on the estate and just soak it in. The location for day trips was perfect. Groceries just. 5 min away. Peaceful and perfect for a self-catering family wanting to be away from the noise and crowds.

Lack of food on location and in the area. Only one window for the whole apartment with mosquito net, should have at least one for every room. Some furniture needs renewing but not too big of a problem. The road to the location (1 km) is in really bad condition.

Nice location, very quiet nights and relaxing sleep. Good new bathroom, big and comfortable bed. Wonderful gardens. Polite and nice owners ready to help at any time. Clean and authentic.

Doreen was lovely and went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and all our needs were met. The location was absolutely stunning with amazing views of Tuscany. The grounds were a Tuscan paradise with a lovely swimming pool, fantastic bbq area amongst the olive grove and picnic areas spread out over the grounds amongst fountains, you roses and Cyprus trees. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We were able to cook many meals and enjoy a recently renovated bathroom. We conducted a wine tasting with the wine made on the property and it was the best wine tasting we had while in Tuscany. It was located in a newly built conference facility with a beautiful view. The wine tasting was intimate with plenty of wine and snacks and engaging conversations with Doreen - she was so warm and welcoming. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!

Nothing. I'd advise to get a rental car for convenience. Doreen and Anthony are a great help with getting a rental.

The location was perfect for those looking for a relaxing escape in the Tuscan hills. It's also not a bad place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing/museum visits. Doreen and Anthony. . . What can I say, other than a big thank you for being the best hosts anyone could ask for. The property is beautiful, and each apartment is set up to provide maximum comfort and functionality. The pool area was a favorite of our group, as it had more than just the pool. There was also a fully functioning laundry room for those who are traveling for many days. Thank you so much Doreen! We loved Tenuta Tegolato, and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year :)

Absolutely nothing of note. This place is a perfect Tuscan stay!

This is the best place we have ever stayed in Tuscany. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and the apartment didn't disappoint either! Spacious, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Doreen was the most gracious and helpful host, even bringing us coffee for the mokka pot at 10:30 pm! Our kids loved the clean, big pool and so did we. We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful location, we loved everything about it. Perfect location to visit nearby villages When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Doreen. The view from the location is absolutely beautiful! Through Whatsapp you can order fresh bread for the next day. By the pool there are 2 bed and a parasol per appartment. Very clean and peacefull (WIFI access by the pool is very nice). The room has everything we needed, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hairdryer and airco. Near the location you have a few supermarkets. Also make sure you book the winetasting, Doreen has so much knowledge about the wines. We are enjoying the wine we brought back! Thank you so much Doreen! We are for sure coming back! I'm sure that it was our best ever host and place for a holliday. Doreen were AMAZING. Always knows the best for us, always had a smile, always had a perfect glass of wine, can help...in everything.... to reserve for a meal...had good tips to visit....absolut the best host ever. The place....no words too...amazing. The nature was like in haven...perfect tuscany landscape everywhere. Our house like a beauty and clean home. We had a separate house with separate garden...we love it. There were a beautiful garden...and an amazing swimming pool. Clean and big and perfect tempered. Doreen has fantastic wines...has red and white, sparkling...any of them was lovely. I'm sure we find our place, we will go back as soon as possible. Beautiful place, the view of the valley from our bedroom was breathtaking! Very nice owners, Doreen went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable. She did more than we expected from her :-). The lighting in the living room ( Rifugio room) could be better - it was a bit dark all the time in the room.

Beautiful house sitting among the Tuscan hills, amazing views, silence and chill. It is an old villa but newly refurbished, all clean and comfortable but at the same time very authentic place with character. Wines very delicious! But most importantly: absolutely fabulous host - Doreen was always answering to our needs and requests, happy to tell stories about the place and arrange anything we needed. Recommendable place!

There was absolutely nothing to complain about!

One of the most beautiful stays we had in Italy. The property is well maintained, everything is new and very clean. There is a fantastic pool, whirlpool and on request sauna and massage. The garden was created with a lot of love. The apartments are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. There is also a fireplace and air conditioning. In the garden there are many beautiful seating areas, with a barbecue area and a herb garden. Recently, there have also been rooms for celebrations such as weddings. The accommodation is a bit secluded, but quiet with a beautiful view over the Tuscan hills. You are still quickly on the main road and can also reach many destinations such as Florence or Siena within an hour by car. From Monday to Saturday you could order fresh bread or rolls, which were then delivered directly to the apartment door. As a welcome gift, a bottle of the in-house wine and a small bottle of olive oil were waiting for us in the room. We booked a wine tasting and received a very informative tour of the winery and were able to taste the very delicious wines, olive oil as well as Tuscan cheese and ham. The wines as well as the olive oil can also be bought on site. Doreen was a sympathetic and wonderful Person. She was always available for questions, recommended us good restaurants and made reservations for us. Thank you very much Dorenn, we felt like at home!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Tenuta Tegolato. Everything is just perfect, a beautiful and serene garden with a wonderful view over the Tuscan hills and a big swimming pool. The apartment has been very nice, had a very comfortable bed a good living room and two good bathrooms. Doreen is a wonderful host and was very hospitable and kind.

Everything was wonderful. On arrival Anthony showed us around on the beautiful Tenuta. Appartment was great. Bed is very good. Later we had some nice conversations with Doreen, she happily showed us around the winery and explained the proces of winemaking. WiFi available in the whole complex, very nice and very handy. Hosts Doreen and Anthony are the best hosts we’ve ever had. Extremely friendly and happy to help with everything you could need. This location is a slice of paradise. Very nicely located between Firenze and Siena, which are easy to visit. Also close are San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Certaldo. On request you can use the Hammam/Sauna which are very nice. We were on site for 11days and we were sorry to leave. If we should go to Tuscany again, we would definitely go to Tenuta Tegolato again. And if we could rate it higher then a solid 10, we would!!! Loved it.

Not a single thing.

A small piece of paradise with lush gardens and incredible panoramic views. The appartments are spacious and decorated with care. The pool is beautiful and our 2 year old enjoyed the rather large shallow part. In the olive groves, the fully equiped BBQ area is situated where you can prepare your food over complementary olive wood. We also really enjoyed the wine tasting with the wines from the Tenuta Tegolato estate. But what makes Tenuta Tegolato stand out, are the people who run it. Both Doreen and Anthony are remarkable people who continuously find the right balance between engaging and your privacy. They make you feel at home right away and are always available to help you out. We really enjoyed your opennes en friendship and we do hope to see you again.
