to meet these precious lodge during our 10-day trip in Italy. Tenuta Tegolato is peaceful, quiet, and beautiful place in every aspects. I dare say that the whole place is a masterpiece. To fully enjoy the Tenuta Tegolato, we spent most of our time in this place during our stay in Posibonssi. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to manage such a large plot of land meticulously and cleanly, but the host, Doreen, managed it perfectly. Doreen is the most kind and warm-hearted person we have ever met during our trip in Italy. Despite our late check-in and rental car issues, Doreen did her best to help us like the matters of her. She guided us around the place throughly and kindly even after our late check-in. On top of all, I highly recommend wonderful wine tasting program to future guests at Tenuta Tegolato. I'm sure everyone has no choice but to fall in love with the fascinated story and tastes of wines provided by Doreen. High quality cold-cut ham and cheese from local farms are also served during the wine tasting and I am sure you will love that too. Although it was a short stay, our experience at Tenuta Tegolato hosted by Doreen was truly unforgettable one. Very small things - I have a slipped disc and found the bed a little uncomfortable and the bath had a shower head but no screen so sometimes the water ended up on the floor. As a family of 3, only having 2 sunbeds per room around the pool meant someone had to share

The hosts Anthony and Samantha were warm and welcoming. Anthony gave us a tour on the day we arrived and communication was excellent via whattsapp as well as in person. One afternoon, around the pool Samantha gave us all some complimentary wine from Tenuta Tegolato. The pool area was very organised with sunbeds for each apartment which meant you always had a spot. The location and surroundings were absolutely stunning and peaceful. I felt very relaxed. Very clean and well kept apartments and pool area - whole complex was very well kept.

Doreen met us on arrival and showed us around. We were travelling with our daughter, so it was nice to see other families around the property too. Apartment had everything we needed, and the hosts left a lovely welcome gift of wine and olive oil from the property. Such a beautiful setting and a great location to base yourself if you want to explore Tuscany. You will need a car as the property is not central, but we were aware of that and it was what we needed. Pool is beautiful. We didnt get a chance to do the wine tasting, but would have loved to stay for longer. Highly recommend!

It was perfect vacation, we have fallen in love with Tuscany. Staying in Tenuta Tegolato was great idea, the staff is very polite and helpfull! Rooms are clean and well furnished! We can highly recommend this spot! Also wanted to add, in 5 minutes from this villa is excellent restaurant Osteria L’Antica Quercia with delicious food!

The view is breathtaking. The apartments are spacious and recently renovated/built. The pool/area is amazing and the grounds of the property are immaculately maintained. We loved the wine available for tasting and purchase on-site. Most importantly, the host was amazing! She provided site-seeing recommendations, complementary wine tasting by the pool and took the time to explain everything from Italian culture to the wine-making process! This is a hidden gem and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Simply everything. To pick the top reasons, then that would be the serenity, the beauty, the cleanliness, waking up to the birds singing, the drive up to the place, the stunning views, the isolation, and the host ♥️ we didn’t want to leave, and when we left, we went back in a day and extended our stay. My child’s favorite part of the whole Italian trip was this place and feeding the fish with the host. Unbelievable, right! I can’t emphasis how wonderful the host is. This is something that I never really cared about, but she added immensely to our Italian trip. She has such fantastic communication skills, and is very helpful, friendly, understanding, and such a lovely human being! We can’t wait to go back ♥️ 🌸

Absolutely a Wow 🤩 place!!! Not only was the place superb, the location on top of the hill, the pool, jacuzzi, and both dry and steam saunas! it’s also a winery with beautiful views and the accommodations were fantastic specially for a family of 4!!! In case you don’t know, it’s tough to travel around Europe with 2 kids because it’s not easy to find accommodation for 4 where you can stay together (not in separate rooms) and be comfortable with plenty of space…. this was a great apartment with king size bed and twin sofa bed in one bedroom with private bathroom plus another small bedroom with twin bed and it’s own bathroom, plus full kitchen and living room space!! But what made it the best was the staff, in particular Doreen ♥️! one of the sweetest, nicest, and most kind souls we have met in a long time, so so so nice and gentle 🙏!!! Awesomeness!

Our host Doreen was very friendly and welcoming. The garden surrounding the property is vast and well tended. The pool and Jacuzzi are great and the BBQ in the olive garden has everything one needs. We will definitely come again.

The place have amazing view, beautiful gardens, wine is delicious. The location is great it is very near by car to a lot of small and big cities. The host is great recommended restaurant and sites to visit. I highly recommend the place. There is a small warm inside swimming pool, so even if the outside pool is cold, you can can enjoy the sun and use the small pool.

Nothing to criticize at all.

Everything was absolutely beautiful--the grounds, the pool, the views, the apartment (Fusi), the staff. Doreen and Samantha were there to cater to your every need and were both so kind. The A/C was not turned on for the season but I am a hot sleeper so Doreen went into town and bought a fan for me to use. I loved everything about this place and wish I could have stayed longer to have a few days to stay on the estate and just soak it in. The location for day trips was perfect. Groceries just. 5 min away. Peaceful and perfect for a self-catering family wanting to be away from the noise and crowds.

Lack of food on location and in the area. Only one window for the whole apartment with mosquito net, should have at least one for every room. Some furniture needs renewing but not too big of a problem. The road to the location (1 km) is in really bad condition.

Nice location, very quiet nights and relaxing sleep. Good new bathroom, big and comfortable bed. Wonderful gardens. Polite and nice owners ready to help at any time. Clean and authentic.

Doreen was lovely and went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and all our needs were met. The location was absolutely stunning with amazing views of Tuscany. The grounds were a Tuscan paradise with a lovely swimming pool, fantastic bbq area amongst the olive grove and picnic areas spread out over the grounds amongst fountains, you roses and Cyprus trees. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had a well stocked kitchen. We were able to cook many meals and enjoy a recently renovated bathroom. We conducted a wine tasting with the wine made on the property and it was the best wine tasting we had while in Tuscany. It was located in a newly built conference facility with a beautiful view. The wine tasting was intimate with plenty of wine and snacks and engaging conversations with Doreen - she was so warm and welcoming. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!

Tenuta Tegolato located up in the hills of Tuscany with absolutely breathtaking views of the grapevines. Located approximately an 1 hour from Florence. Property is gated and equipped with kitchen, utensils, AC, TV, laundry room and Wi-Fi in all locations. A great location to escape to for a honeymoon or just from the businesses of life. Host Doreen and Anthony were of great help. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to be back.

The location was perfect for those looking for a relaxing escape in the Tuscan hills. It's also not a bad place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing/museum visits. Doreen and Anthony. . . What can I say, other than a big thank you for being the best hosts anyone could ask for. The property is beautiful, and each apartment is set up to provide maximum comfort and functionality. The pool area was a favorite of our group, as it had more than just the pool. There was also a fully functioning laundry room for those who are traveling for many days. Thank you so much Doreen! We loved Tenuta Tegolato, and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year :)

Absolutely nothing of note. This place is a perfect Tuscan stay!

This is the best place we have ever stayed in Tuscany. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and the apartment didn't disappoint either! Spacious, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Doreen was the most gracious and helpful host, even bringing us coffee for the mokka pot at 10:30 pm! Our kids loved the clean, big pool and so did we. We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay.
