When I arrived nobody was there for the check-in, so I had to wait. And there are not enough keys, so I also had to wait to get my keys to enter the hostel.

The location of this hostel is great!

I came a bit before the check-in time because it was not possible for me to arrive later, so I understand that not everything is ready. However, the staff had no change so I had to go down to a store to change the money, then the key did not work and I had to change it, so I went up and down several times before I could go. To enter the building you have to walk over a big steps and go up some steps until there is the elevator, with a big suitcase this is not ideal. Also, the beds move when you turn and you can smoke on the balcony which is connected to the room, so you smell the smoke inside.

The hostel is centrally located, the staff is nice and it is quite cheap.

The owner was not reachable via phone. The hostel was not easy to find. I was freezing in the night because of to little bed cover. I was not informed how the return policies are so I just left the keys on the counter.

It was not expensive. I got linen. There were no bed bugs.

Unfortunately the bed side table, below the bed and some corner were full of dust . the renovation of the painting should be done in this room. The man bathroom was not clean s As the water was not flowing properly ( you can see a small pool in my picture ). the fan taking out the humity was full of dust . as the men bathroom does not have a window you could smell the humidity inside. It should really be renovate in my opinion.

There is only a small toilet and shower for several rooms (luckily everyone was polite and respectful), the shower was not draining properly and small.

The hostel is in the centre, walking distance from main attraction. The bed was clean, bedsheets too. Storage is available if you bring a lock.

The building is ancient so it was hard for us with dust allergies. The walls may have mold, but not sure if that is the case or it is just very old. The bathroom is really small and unrenovated, the toilet paper can finish at night (even though it is renewed the next day) and made us feel uncomfortable to use the facilities to be honest. It wasn't dirty but it wasn't clean either.

The room was big and ideal for a group of friends and with great value for money. The aircon works perfectly. It wasn't super clean but the location was perfect for discovering Palermo. The staff is awesome: very friendly and nice, it was even possible to meet them up after their shift. The kitchen is available although we did not use it.

This is a very basic place to stay. Pretty worn down hostel in the common areas (I would not use the refrigerator and the freezer was broken...) but the location is excellent and the (female) 8-bed dorm was better than I expected. You get what you pay for (in my case 24 euros, I only stayed one night) but like I says the room is totally ok with clean beds and aircon that worked fine. Would not recommend staying long but definitely recommend for one or two nights if you are on a budget. Worth mentioning: the girls working there where all really nice.

Only one bathroom (toilet +shower) for women and one for men. There was never toilet paper and hot water was not regular.
