There was a problem with getting the keys. When we arrived we were supposed to ring to the owner to get the keys, but he wasn’t responding so we couldn’t get in. We were waiting outside for 10 minutes and then we decided to go to the nearest restaurant to eat. When the owner finally called, we said that we will come after lunch and he agreed. When we came the door was open because someone else was entering the building and we just found the keys on the table in the apartment.

The location was great, very close to the train station. The interior was really beautiful, the bed was comfortable and there were many shelves in the bathroom. There was also a coffee machine which we used every morning.

Perfect location for an early train; even a plane if you take the ATVO bus to the airport (even Venice). We walked to dinner. We used it to meet up with a friend who flew in and we took the train from our town. This made catching the train in the morning much easier.

A little bit noisy when you open the window, but with windows closed you have a quiet apartment.

Apartment was very clean, nice, comfortable and very beautifull... and has a style. The owner was very nice and pleasant. All recomendations. The location is not in the part of Venice where the attractions are, but it is right across the train station and you can get there in 12 minutes by train. The cost was less than 1.5 euro per one way ticket and you have train every ten minutes starting from 5am until after the midnight. Payed parking is available near the apartment and you can pay on exit, but we took a 3day ticket that can be used for multiple ins and outs. Arround the apartment you have stores, markets, restaurants and all you need for the nice stay.

Only minor niggle, there were no user instructions on how to use the coffee machine, the washing machine or adjust the Air con. We had to google and try different things to figure out. Wi-Fi was a small bit hit and miss on the balcony. Overall, I would highly recommend.

The host Giacomo made contact with us via WhatsApp the day prior to arrival to give us instructions for arrival. Check in time is 15:00 but due to flight timing, we arrived early at 13:30 and were pleasantly surprised to be told by Giacomo the apartment was ready. The apartment we chose had a balcony and it was clean and more spacious than I expected. It had a well equipped kitchen / living room, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Located across from Mestre train station for easy access to Venice and five minutes walk from the coach service to Marco Polo airport, we couldn't have had a better location. There is a large supermarket called Ali's two minutes walk down the street. The host was easily contactable via WhatsApp if needed throughout our stay.

Although the car park we used (Star Parking) was fantastic (recommended), we were under the impression that the property had private parking. I think this is more a booking.com problem than the property's, but knowing that detail from the beginning will save a lot of stress afterwards. In any case, we are really happy.

Giacomo was really helpful and accessible, as well as friendly.. The location is superb, you will not get better.

We were 3 adults for 4 nights and they only supplied 2 rolls of toilet paper. We had to ask for more twice, as they only gave us 2 rolls at a time. The cooktop only has two burners and they don't work well. There is not a good supply of dishes, glasses, and utensils to cook a large meal.

Right next to the train station and the bus station to take you to Venice. Host was very attentive and easy to contact. Apartment was comfortable, clean, and large.

If you are affected by noise, there is plenty of it here. The apartment is near the train station and in a very busy area. The accommodation does not have its own parking space. There are many paid parking lots nearby.

The place is very convenient for visiting Venice. The interaction with the host - Giacomo- is very efficient. One day I forgot the key in the appartment and I did not have any other possibility to go inside. I spoke with Giacomo and he immediately opened the door for me. So, he have a very efficient sistem to open the doors. Inside the apartment you have everything you need, even for a long staing.

Nothing serious, ... we usually prefer 2 separate blankets in the double bed, but this seems to be the general preference in Italy to only have one shared blanket. Otherwise all good.

Spacious apartment near the Mestre train station. Bus (Nr.2) to Piazzale Roma just over the street. Parking possibilities (e.g. Saba) nearby. Staying here entitles you to the an exemption to the Venice Tourist Ticket!

Location outside at night taking your dog outside is sketchy. Homeless people outside the door making you feel very on edge. AC only “works” with the windows closed. We couldn’t get the AC to work most of our stay. I feel like they had it connected to their phone not allowing it to work u til I messaged about it and then it magically worked.

Great location, had everything you need even a washing machine. Bed were good, hard but we prefer that.
