We would have benefitted from written instructions on how to use the washing machine - Roberto did tell us but the different cycles confounded us! :)

The location was perfect for us as it was a 6 minute walk to the train station and there was a vaporetto stop nearby. The apartment is located in a quiet block of flats with a grocery store and several eateries nearby.

Only has Italian tv, which is not the end of the world, just bring your own devices (iPad etc) if you want to read, news or a movie before you settle in for the night.

The apartment is like a home in the city of Venetia. The apartment kept the old style look and feel and is exceptionally clean and has all you need and worth staying for more than 3 days to enjoy Venetia and explore all the little streets and islands.

Cannot fault the place or think of anything that we did not like, except we had to leave. This place had everything we needed, and it was definitely a home from home.

Everything! Roberto is wonderful with his meet and greet and explanation of everything. He is happy to answer questions and make sure you have all the information you need. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The bedroom is lovely with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The lounge and dining room are delightful with space and everything one needs. The bathroom is good with a washing machine which was handy. This is in a quiet area but also very close to shopping and restaurants. It was lovely to walk from the train station and not have to go over bridges to get to the apartment, so it was a wonderful easy walk. We would highly recommend this apartment and when we return would certainly book this again.

Everything is great, the location, the apartment, and the host...etc. I don't want to tell people how much good time I had there because I don't want it to become too popular to book. However, I really need to be honest, it's one of the best accommodation experience I've ever had.

Decor was classy, but more Grandmas style.

Roberto was fantastic. His place was clean, comfortable and spacious. He took the time to orientate us to the city and checked in to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Loved having a separate kitchen and living room space.

Despite being close to the station, the apartment is located on a quiet street, and I was a bit nervous the first night I went back to the apartment because of how quiet it was (although very appreciated considering how busy Venice is). However, it was just me being overly paranoid and throughout my stay, nothing made me feel dangerous at all. The apartment is very secure with multiple locks.

The apartment was super well-equipped, you will have everything you need once you arrive. It had that antique, classical feeling in an elegant way, the photos did not do justice to how beautiful the apartment's interior was! I also cannot overstate how friendly Roberto was - he explained everything thoroughly upon arrival and checked in daily to ensure there was no issue. The best host I have ever encountered on all my non-hotel trips!

Not much, it's pretty good all round.

This is a very comfortable apartment. Large for 2 people and an excellent compliment of amenities. I will definitely recommend it to friends & family visiting Venice. The location is perfect for getting to & from the airport (especially when you have a lot of luggage) and well connected by Vaporetto or walking to the main Venitian attractions. Roberto is a helpful host and I will always check the availability of this place first when I next visit this glorious city.

The location was incredible! Absolutely beautiful classical Venitian Suite right in the heart of Venice. Easily walkable to all areas of town and great facilities and clean apartment. Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking an authentic Venice experience.

Honestly can not find any faults

Everything was perfect. Roberto was a fantastic host and shared tips on Venice. The cleaning was of an exceptional standard and everything that we needed to cook with was available in the kitchen. The a/c worked super well.

He messaged information about Venice, ways to transport, and places to visit. On our arrival, he met us at the apartment, and on the day we left, we met his wife Donetalle, which again both has been helpful with our travel.

Roberto was so helpful with recommendations. It was a comfortable apartment with a well equipped kitchen. It was in a lovely part of the city in addition to being walking distance from the train station. Water taxis were easy to utilize and right near by.

Absolutely perfect apartment in a fantastic location. Close enough to pop in for a rest during the day but still in a quiet and picturesque area. The amazing hosts were always immediately available by text to answer questions or give great and honest restaurant recommendations. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed; a comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, stable and fast wifi, and strong air conditioning when needed. If we ever find ourselves planning a trip back to Venice again, well absolutely stay here!

Nothing, everything was great.

From the moment we made our reservation, Roberto was very kind and reassuring. Communication was top-notch and he was always happy to answer any questions we had. As soon as we arrived, Roberto thoroughly showed us the apartment and all its features. After that, he pulled out a big map of Venice and gave us a lot of indications and recommendations, marking a few restaurants/bars he recommended, informing us how to get to the other islands or explaining to us how the 'bus' service works and all that. Now about the apartment... Everything was impeccable! It's a big apartment, you can easily fit a family of up to 3/4 people in there. Every room in the house is quite spacious, including the 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, grill, fridge, freezer, etc. And you don't need to worry about buying coffee, tea, or dressings like olive oil or vinegar, it's available for you. Also, you can just use the crockery and anything you might need to have a nice home dinner... Because that's literally what it felt like: home. In our opinion, the location was perfect too: it's not too close to busy spots like Rialto or S. Marco so it was really quiet not only at night but all day long; however, it was just a very short walk from one of the many 'bus' stops throughout the city. Last but not least is the AC in the apartment: as our trip was in the summer, one thing that really worried us was having to choose between having the windows open at night for fresh air or not having mosquitoes in the apartment. It was great to have the peace of mind to explore this wonderful city knowing that at the end of each day we would go back to a place where we could actually rest comfortably. We absolutely loved our stay and we will surely recommend this apartment to anyone who is planning a trip to Venice. If (when) we go back to Venice, be assured we will try to make our reservation.

The apartment was beautiful, large, clean had everything you needed. The location was excellent, 10 minutes from bus station, 5 minutes from train station, close to shops, resturants and water bus stops. Roberto was very helpful, friendly and informative. We would stay there again.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Roberto was always available even before we left England. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and most of all it is so convenient for access to all major sights. Cannaregio is pure Venice and well away from San Marco but only twenty five minutes walk. Literally, ten minutes from Piazzale Roma and the railway station. Supermarkets five minutes and excellent restaurants very close by.Al Faro in the Jewish quarter was fantastic. This apartment is off the main streets and absolutely silent and quiet all day and night. We had the best time and hope you do too.

Nothing was left to chance and so our stay was perfect

Superb location close to the train station, shops and valporetto stop yet very quiet for sleeping. The owner could not have done more to make us feel welcome and offer advice. The appt had absolutely everything imaginable that may be needed and was spotless clean. The area was perfect for more Venetian style cafes and taverns and we felt that we could escape the tourists. Many thanks Roberto for a fantastic stay.
