Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe location, no buzz around the hotel or immediate restaurant The girl at the breakfast was very grumpy Dark room Airconditioning is a bit poor Bit overpriced for where it is, cost me a lot in taxis
The hotel is good, its just if you are looking to go into the city, then its a metro or taxi (avg 20-25euros, best to ask reception to phone taxi, dont use Uber! Very expensive. Unfortunately there are not many restaurants in the immediate area, hotel bar is nice especially with Constantino, nice guy, good service. I did miss the buzz around the hotel, its in a very quiet area. The rooms are very dark and there is no complementary water. The breakfast is okay, very simple, but not the best. Most of the staff are very friendly but 1 girl at the breakfast was so grumpy. It didnt change even after us staying there for 6 nights. I didnt get her name.

United KingdomGreat location for our first 3 night stay in Milan ,the metro (Bignami Parco Nord) is across the road making it easy to get into the centre of Milan. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included with a good range of food to choose from.

RomaniaRooms are very small for a 4 star hotel and the bathroom even smaller. Don't think a larger person can fit in the shower cabin. I am average size and had difficulties to use it.
Restaurant was nice and personal very friendly. Furniture and decorations were quite nice.

United KingdomThe breakfast was a bit of a disappointment with not many fresh fruit and vegetables which is a staple.
The hotel is great value for the money, the location can’t be faulted one bit, it’s right in front of a subway station. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Having a fridge in the room was super convenient.

GreeceThe area around the hotel was not that clean nor felt super safe.
Very close to Isola which is the place to be in Milan right now. Hip, cool, alternative, not touristic. Very classic hotel with all that you need when on vacation. A proper stay.

ItalyGreat hotel in a convenient if unremarkable area in Milan. I would definitely recommend the hotel for the use of the "Lila" line for concerts (etc) at San Siro (despite the metro being a complete disaster after the Taylor Swift concert)

United States of AmericaThe neighborhood isn't the best. Not many shops or cafes. The room was not in its best condition (it was clean, but the air wasn't too fresh).
It's a bit outside the Milano but has a metro station right in front, which was convenient. Also was close to the nearby university which I had to go for three days for conference.

GermanyFront desk immediately tried to sell me an upgrade despite me having already booked an upgrade and the front desk seemed to not know the difference between Standard and Deluxe Room. Window only possible to be opened a bit. Noisy area due to the big road infront of the hotel. Food ok but overpriced.
Clean and friendly staff.

SloveniaEven tho you are a hotel guest you need to pay for the parking ( but at the end at least you know your car is safe). Decor and equipment in the room and bathroom is old fashioned.
Great location, lovely breakfast and nice staff. Bed was also super comfortable. We were also able to leave the car at the parking even after check out in the morning.

JordanRooms were small, the shower is also very small, and parking is a bit expensive considering you are in a quiet neighbourhood where you can easily park on back streets, however, I used their parking as I think it is more secure
Location was perfect, subway was immediately in front of the hotel, the breakfast was great with many delicious options and desserts, staff was nice.

SlovakiaLocated near the university, around the corner from a shopping mall, and right by the subway station. Ideal place for someone attending a university event which was within walkable distance while the city center was a 30m subway ride. The hotel was reasonably comfortable and staff nice and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe entrance to the hotel was slightly intriguing for me, access through a metallic door or gate which required permission from inside !
Breakfast had a nice variety and good quality. Staff was constantly available to help with a friendly attitude. I had encounter a little technical problem, one of the bed light was not working, and the issue was addressed promptly. Room was quiet and pleasantly arranged / designed. Additionally, public transportation extremely convenient, subway station in front of the hotel.
