Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly small negative was that the efficient motion detector lighting in the corridors was so efficient it didn't come on till you had almost felt your way to the bedroom door or back to the lift!
Great location in the centre of town. We were there for a cycling event and the start/finish line was actually right outside the door! Breakfast was great, room compact but well appointed and comfortable, and great bathroom.

Francesometimes too many small children shouting and running around during dinner
Comfortable rooms, nice balconies, very clean, very friendly personnel, excellent and varied breakfast, excellent food from the restaurant, very friendly and cozy bar with a very nice ambience, very friendly bartenders (Hello Dario). The only comment I have is: I would have loved it if the room had a coffee maker, an some additional complimentary items (like a bottle of water, box of tissues etc...) but these are minor.

RomaniaParking place was kind of crowded and hectic. We always found a spot, but it should be paved/deiced and parking lines should be drawn, else people park randomly. Shower head was punctured / broken, but usable.
Great location. Nice enough spa/sauna. Nice jacuzzi. Good breakfast and dinner. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is lively, it accommodates a lot of people and we liked the busy atmosphere. The ladies serving the food were very friendly. Thursday there is a DJ evening in the bar. Other amenities like the Foosball and Ping-Pong tables were a great way to pass some time.

RomaniaThis hotel has a fantastic central location in the very picturesque village of Moena, in the heart of the Dolomite mountains. Best of all is the staff who was very friendly( specially the staff from restaurant ) . The rooms were very nice ,clean, spacious, and with all the modern features anybody would want. Evening meals was a choice of 3 different courses and breakfast was a generous buffet. Free parking at the side of the hotel.

United KingdomNoise from building work outside, but that is not the hotel's fault. Room was a bit tired looking with a lot of the furniture scratched and a bit worn, the hotel allows dogs so we suspected some of the door scratches were from previous canine guests. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over, quite hard to get in and out of. The bath had a jacuzzi feature, however when we ran the water to fill the bath it was brown and full of black bits. Despite running it many times the muck kept coming out of the taps. In the end we gave up and just used the shower which seemed to be ok.
We have visited the restaurant at the front of the hotel many times as we ski in the area every year. This was the first time we have stayed in the hotel and it didn't disappoint. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Sadly the bar and restaurant at the front of the hotel was closed for most of our stay, which was a shame. Halfway through the week we switched to half board and ate our evening meal in the dining room. Food was good value with a good choice of menu. Staff were all lovely, reception were super helpful and always on hand. Hotel has a lift which is handy as we were on the very top floor. We had a lovely balcony over looking the river. Unfortunately they are doing building work on the river floor defenses right outside the hotel so at times it was very noisy but we were out most days so it didn't affect us. Bathroom was fine, shower worked ok. Roof terrace hot tub was just amazing, we often had it to ourselves! Stunning views and hot tub warm and clean. The spa in the basement is also beautiful. Two large hot tubs sunk in at floor level, rain shower sections, steam room and sauna. All included in the cost of the hotel which made it good value. Mini fridge in the room was unexpected and most welcome. Rooms were very clean. Will defo look at booking the hotel again for skiing should we switch from self catering. It is located right in the centre of the Moena.

PolandOur hotel stay had its drawbacks. Firstly, the power outlet near the desk wasn't working. Additionally, breakfasts started at an inconvenient time of 7:45 AM, making it challenging to catch the last bus to Sella Ronda at 7:56 AM. Moreover, there was only one towel for both of us, and the provided blanket was too small. The absence of a kettle in the room was inconvenient. However, the major setback was the dinners – not always tasty, and unfortunately, we suffered from food poisoning on the last day, significantly impacting our overall impression. Our rating might be around 7-8, but now it's 6
The hotel provided us free power adapter, and is in a beautiful city. They let me check in late, and the staff, especially in the kitchen, were helpful. The Wi-Fi was good for getting work done.
