Wonderful hosts, a spacious apartment with a million dollar view of the ruins of the Temple of Apollo and next to the local market and dozens of good restaurants. Important to not forget the numerous gelato shops. A voucher was provided for breakfast in a nearby cafe. Located in Ortegia, the only area of Siracusa to stay (in my opion).

Poor a/c throughout, 3 Rd bedroom gets no wifi or a/c and the bed is uncomfortable. No instructions for the sauna and never found a spa as advertised. Dishwasher out of action. A lot needs to be addressed.

Residents will need to buy basic needs as they arrive. Towels and toilet tissue provided, but personal toiletries and food required, all obtainable in the supermarket 50m away.

Central and picturesque location. Exceptionally clean. Large and spacious accommodation, two bathrooms and separate living/dining rooms. Balcony onto plaza with Roman (?) ruins. All restaurants, shops and monuments within walking distance.

Incredibile location, well kept and clean with high end hand crafted mobilia throughout. We really felt like we were living the high life the syracusan way. Perfect hosts both Gaetano and Silvana were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We cant say there was anything about the apartment we did not like.

Loads of space and great location, travelled with wife, son and his girlfriend, plenty of room to come together or have time alone. In city centre, so everything you need on the doorstep, bars, restaurants, boat trips, places to swim, great sandy beaches a short drive away. Wouldl book again if we go back to Sicily.

It was very loud outside to 3 AM on Sat with the square being right there.

Clean and spacious A/C worked good. Comfortable beds. The owners are very nice and helpful.

The shower fitting on the second bathroom needs attention.

Location was fabulous...couldn't be better. The traditional furnishings were really beautiful. The space, light and quality throughout was exceptional. The view from the balcony over the Ruins of Apollo were amazing. The complimentary breakfast at a fabulous nearby restaurant was an unexpected bonus. Magical place to stay!

Fantastic location right next to the temple of Apollo. Beautiful apartment with lots of space to spread out and relax. Balcony views were great. The owners were wonderful - we arrived on a feast day so they offered to have us drop off our bags before check in. They were kind and welcoming. Recommend this place with no reservations!

The host asked me to contact an hour before arrival, which I did but we were still waiting a long time outside to be let in to the apartment

The grandness of the apartment was amazing and so spacious and clean. Also there was so much space, and great facilities. Within a great location and balconies to view all going on outside, overlooking the Apollo and street.

The spa is in the primary ensuite bathroom and is a combination shower with multiple shower heads with a small attached sauna in the same unit. (which we didn’t try out, used the regular shower head and it was too hot for a sauna) Not that we didn’t like it but to clarify as this was unclear from their booking site.

The host was very good at communicating and met us on arrival. The apartment is very large and the photos don’t do it justice. We were surprised with the amount of space and the quality of the furnishings. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and most of the furniture is beautiful antique inlaid wood with marble floors. The location is excellent, close to some free parking and very walkable to all the sites in Ortigia. The breakfast was a coffee and pastry in a cafe across the street but it was pleasant. Amazing view to the temple of Apollo across the street.

Prime location apartment in Ortigia, beautiful view of the Temple of Apollo. Really spacious with an Italian luxurious feeling. Very well equipped kitchen and dining room, with wine glasses to suit every grape type/occasion which seemed quite impressive. Steps away from so many good restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Would be my top choice in Ortigia for sure!

The aircon didn’t reach the third bedroom.

Absolutely perfect location overlooking the ruins. 3 large bedrooms, 1 with ensuite. Living room with sofa beds and dining table + a separate dining room and kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need - huge fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Met by owner and given an induction. Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast across the road was great too. Overall very pretty, well located, clean and spacious apartment. Highly recommend.

We loved the property!

Fabulous location for everything! Beautiful property, well appointed rooms, great air-conditioning, lots of living space so that our group was able to stretch out and relax and recover from a long flight.

Only problem with the apartment (being so huge) was that the air con not the wi fi reached the third bedroom which have one member of our party an uncomfortably hot night. Little bit of noise in the front bedroom at night - to be expected in such a prime spot. Ejected at 10am sharp (we had only arrived the previous evening at six after train delays) - a little disappointed by this, given that we had asked the owner if he would consider a slightly later check out than 10am or a place to leave a couple of our bags, as we could not access our next property until much later in the day. We appreciate the owner was under no obligation to give us extra time but it would have been nice especially since he had said that the room was not going to be occupied - we would have even willingly negotiated a small fee.

Fantastic location overlooking the Temple of Apollo, in the heart of the old town. Huge apartment for family/ group use and bathroom facilities. Unexpected free breakfast provided in local cafe. Great for exploring Ortigia.
