ItalyUnfortunately, the cleanness rate was really bad. As soon as we arrived to the location and they gave us the key for the room I saw the bed sheets and promptly asked to the reception to change them, they were full of stains. In general I had the feeling that the room was a bit dated, totally in need of a restoration. The main door of the entrance was broken on the top, difficult to close. Moreover, I am quite sure that during our week of stay, no one have changed the bed sheets (three little holes in the same position for all the time), they have just remade the bed and changed the towels. One day we also asked to change one towel that was full of stains (rusty? I hope) Another red flag for the cleaning lady that dropped into the room a couple of time at 8.30 am when we were still in the bed. Breackfast could be better, no big choice, and most of the food is not home made. A big claim to the the owner: STOP GIVING PLASTIC GLASSESS at breakfast, this was a really bad surprise.
The location is amazing. We really appreciated the sunbeds down the rocks and all around the swimming pool. Also the path through the rock to go to the sea was super useful. Good furniture, beds, umbrellas and chairs.

SpainThe buildings are very dated and literally falling apart, old designs and desperately need a renovation. Cleanliness leaves a lot to desire. It’s beyond me how this hotel has 4 stars and it seriously needs to be revised, it barely deserves 3. Breakfast was terrible, no fresh fruits or any vegetables, horrible coffee and no fresh juices.
Amazing location, it’s surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Staff is helpful.

IrelandAbrupt staff and not very welcoming at all. We don't speak italian but we learned some basic phrases and words to try and get by only to be laughed and sneered at by staff. We didnt feel welcome as English speakers. Also, once you check out of the hotel you are no longer welcome there, you cannot use the pool or beach facilities so beware if you have a later flight.
The location is out of this world, and the hotel grounds are really well kept. You can literally go from your sun lounger at the rocks straight into the crystal clear waters and go snorkelling. They also have sun loungers at the beach you can use (as long as you haven't checked out yet). Would give this hotel a 10 for it's setting. The staff are the only problem.

PolandAlmost no electric sockets in the room. Some rooms (like ours) are up on the hill and it’s quite exhausting to walk all the stairs with luggage. Pool had salt water, but we prefer fresh water.
Tremendous views. Nice beach almost in the hotel. Incredible Capo Testa reachable even by foot. Good food in the hotel restaurant.

IrelandWe stayed at the Club Esse Shardana for our weeding anniversary and it was fabulous time highly recommend, specially for few Staff members. Giulia and another Sir in the front desk reception since our first approach and through other days, very professional and helpful. Unbelievable friendly barmaid looked after us at the bar, thanks Nancy, very professional all the time and impeccable customer service and English speaker. Chef looked after us every morning and specially dinner too, food no other delicious in any other restaurant we did find tasty food like that, thanks very much Chef. Entertainment crew not too far as well of any other above, thanks. We really appreciate for the complement arrival drink for our wedding anniversary, you guys make our special date perfect.

GermanyDo NOT Book this one! We booked the Hotel, this is what we got: The Room: No windows and no electricity to charge your phone for example. The room was boiling hot and the air Conditioner didnt work. Wifi? Nope! Food/Drinks: Forget it. We were lucky to get a table (we asked for it at the Chek-In) on 1 of 4 nights. So the other 3 Nights we had to walk about 40 minutes .... there is nothing else close by, since the other 2 Restaurants nearby close in Mid-September. We talked to three different staff members: „No. The Restaurant is Full.“ We asked to get something to eat, but: „No. No English“. That is not customer-friendly, nor human! On the lucky 1 night at the Restaurant, Food was decent. They told us: All you can eat/drink, but that wasnt True. After one drink, we had to pay. Seriously go to the Beach here, a very nice Location. But do NOT waste your Money on this „Hotel“. Dont take it the wrong way: Esse Club can be nice, e.g. Club Esse Sporting at La Pelosa was very nice. But this Club ist the worst!!!

SingaporeI wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for relaxing stay in a nice place. We felt disappointed by the fact that hotel on booking.com uploaded pictures of their standard twin or double room that weren't accurate and are misleading. In here they look like the room has its own private balcony while the stuff informed us that NONE of the rooms in this category have their own balcony and we decided about our stay in this hotel it among others for this reason as we wanted to have a place to sit and chill outside with privacy. We then asked the stuff for a room change but there were no other rooms that they could offer that would differ from the one we got. Then we asked at least for chairs and little table for the terrace outside of the room so we could sit outside. It took them 3 days to provide the chairs, table was never delivered and the chairs were dirty from the paint. There's a terrace in front of the room which faces the path where everyone passes by so there's no privacy at all and this was something we were looking for. The room has only 1 window and the door but both again face the path where everyone walks so if you want to have a light in the room be prepared to be on display :/ with the window closed the room is very dark. The breakfast is very basic as for a place in Italy where normally you can expect great food but the breakfast consisted of the most basic products like ham, cheese and eggs which weren't the best quality to say delicately. There was also a tea but no hot water and the waiters told us that the hot water is only available downstairs at the bar where you had to pay for it, which we found ridiculous. In my opinion place is not worth this price and looks way better on the photos than in reality. I was hesitating whether to stay there or not and hoping that maybe comments from disappointed users were over exaggerated but they weren't so i personally wouldn't recommend to stay there :(

The location is fantastic, the hotel offers a beautiful view of the sea which can be enjoyed from the pool as well as from the terraces facing the water. It is stunning. The hotel organised-entertainments (baby club, evening shows) are discreet and set up in a way not to affect those that prefer a relaxing, personal and quiet time. The staff was very nice and helpful.

CanadaIt is unfathomable to me that a 4 Star hotel would not have Wifi in the rooms and only barely in the lobby. The entire property is very tired and needs a refresh. The room was very basic, with barely any plugs, bed was uncomfortable and the pillow was like cardboard. There were drainage issues and the shower would flood during the shower so you had to turn the water off while showering. The breakfast was terrible.
The only thing nice about the property was the view and location.

NetherlandsHere comes a long list: - first of all, the hotel does no maintenance. there are broken tiles, electric wires that are hanging loose and our toilet was leaking. - there were worms coming from our shower!! see photo. we did not shower inside our room as this is not acceptable. no solution was provided (only cleaning again). - no WiFi in the room, outside or restaurant - you had to wear a shower cap in the pool but the pool itself was not clean at all. - there were only 2 flat pillows in the room and the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. - there was 1 chair and 1 broken table outside our room to relax. see photo. - bathroom smelled bad. - walls are very thin, you could everything that was going on in the rooms next to you. - a lot of noise also came from the boiler in the bathroom. This is definitely not 4-star worthy! I would not recommend you to book here as there are much nicer (and less expensive) hotels in Sardinia.
