Everything was great, the photos don’t even do justice. The place is nicely renovated, but an old building, so it has a rather steep stairs. It’s something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Some places are more than hotels, they are experiences. The room was amazing, but the warmth and hospitality was what made it so memorable and authentic. The morning chats (regardless the language barrier) in the living room, where your breakfast is served and the care of the hosts. Speaking of breakfast - it was phenomenal. Fresh local ingredients and fruits, great variety, delicious orange juice, just squeezed for you, the homemade cake. For a clean freak like me, it was such a pleasant surprise to see a place which matches my hygiene standards (and this happens rarely, even with the very high end hotels). It’s a small BnB, we got the whole floor, which was the room and the bathroom. The bathroom was actually a whole large room, new and wonderfully decorated - see my photos. We were very impressed by the attention to the detail, the charm, the high end finishes, the two Juliette balconies with strawberries. The location is also great, in the historic center walking zone, but also just a min from the road, so you don’t have to carry the suitcases far. Putignano is a charming little town with an easy access to the more touristy locations. Ask for recommendations and the hosts are going to be happy to share them. Parking is easy and free on some streets around. We’ll definitely be back, this was the best place we stayed during our trip around all Southern Italy and the Amalfi coast. We like everything!

We really liked Santo Stefano B&B Putignano. The hosts were extremely kind, the rooms were well heated (it was cold days in April) and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very charming and nice, every morning we woke up in a good mood. The house and its location in the old part of the town are extremely authentic. It’s not a remark, but it’s important to know: some rooms are reached by steep stairs. Parking is free very close - public parking or on the street. In April we had no problem with parking, but maybe during the busier season it will be more difficult.

This B& B is in the heart of a romantic old town with tiny winding streets dotted with flower pots in doorways.The building has thick walls, full of interesting furniture pieces. The breakfest was super with fresh cherries! The hosts are thoughtful and friendly people.

There was no window in our room, but the door had mosquito nets and a curtain to provide fresh air and privacy.

Charming, historic accommodation in Putignano, ideal to see the city and also for a trip to the sea (Polignano a Mare and Monopoli). Lovely hosts who live upstairs. Breakfast was held in their dining room and was delicious and with a lot of options. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

We struggled a little bit with English, but that's absolutely forgivable (maybe even on us for not checking) and we got by just fine.

Quiet top-floor room with a little balcony though we didn't get to enjoy it, but air-conditioning together with a fan saved us from the heatwave so that was good. Wonderful spread for breakfast. Great location for wandering the old town.

It was perfect. the owner waited for us till 2am. the bathroom was so clean and the cosmetics in it was not the cheap ones. there was even intimate hygiene gel. the next day surprised us again. The breakfast was delicious. instead of just coffee and croissants they spoiled us with fresh made orange juice, coffee, tea.. tow types of mozzarella, Parma ham, fresh fruits..Really nice.

Very cozy room in the beautiful and very tipical historic centre. Our host was helpful, flexible and kind. Vegan options were available for breakfast like fruit, jam, nuts, plant based milk and bread.

Perfect location in the historic city. Fantastic and luxury interrior in the old house wirh perfect temperature condition in the hot weather. Very friendly landlords, perfect breakfast. Very nice and conplex old town which has show many important things to tourists. Many great restaurants with live music. Perfect location to make trips to every side. Excellent infocentre service. Breakfast is really amazing by the way as all here. Room is extremely clean and it's in very quiet location. We really enjoyed here several days and we highly reccomend this accomodation.

I booked a room at Santo Stefano to surprise my friends for their wedding. Besides that it has a strategic location for exploring many if the famous gems of Puglia such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Locorotondo and Martina Franka, as my friends later on confirmed, it was sparkling clean, the breakfast was really good, and Putignano itself appeared to also be an interesting and romantic spot to explore. Highly recommended!
