Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIf we had to find a fault, the shower over the bath was awkward to use, easily flooded the floor but was the only poor thing we noticed.
Clean, high standard and comfortable.

Saudi ArabiaBed size.
Good in everything except for the bed size. I booked two rooms with big bed and one person bed. The big bed (king bed) was 2x1.6 meters (one and a half persons) while other places 2x2 meters which is the real king bed. Overall, it is a good choice.

United KingdomThe style is old fashioned (although I knew that from the pictures). The bath in my room didn't look very appealing (it looked stained and gave the impression that it was dirt - even though it wasn't). Also, there were mosquitoes, although that will have to do with the area
The inside of the hotel is really nice. The room was also nice and very spacious. The breakfast was great and the staff really nice as well. Perfect location for events at the Forum.

United KingdomThe air conditioning is non-existent in the rooms. Sleep quality as a result was very poor. We were there on a warm-ish day in April, and the room was between 27-30 degrees. There is AC (apparently) but it did absolutely nothing. Mine hummed, but my colleague's was silent. This made for an uncomfortable night stay. I was also on edge because I had a couple of mosquitos appear out of nowhere - despite no windows or doors being open and with me being very diligent in my hunt when I found the initial one. So, not only was I hot, I didn't want to be out of the covers and bitten. No idea how they're getting in.
Really nice building; the lobby and restaurant are lovely places to be in. The breakfast, whilst minimal in terms of hot food, had plenty of sweet options. I had the best cake I've ever had - chocolate and coconut cake - which is odd to have for breakfast, but lovely nonetheless.

United KingdomNoticed a few ants in the room & the furniture in the room was a little dated but the hotel is currently upgrading so that might be changed.
Loved the location next to the Forum. We attended a gig & it only took 5 minutes to walk back to the hotel. The hotel gardens were superb. The buffet breakfast was included in the price & offered an excellent selection. Overall the hotel facilities were great.

LithuaniaIt was very hot in the room, and it smelled like mold (underground, wet), however it might be because of constructions
Great location if you are with a car (garage for free) or you can use a Metro (10 min walk from hotel). Pool is only open in summer. The rooms are getting renovated now so sometimes it smells like construction. Overall great value, and an old grand hotel vibes. Breakfast is very standard, has everything you need, but not exceptional. We got 2 rooms same value, one was big on the 4th floor, and another was much smaller on the 3rd (same price, different experience).

United KingdomNo tea and coffee making facilities in the room, even though it was a suite. Had to request a plug for the Bath several times as there was no shower and the bath was a main reason for booking the room in the first place.
Nice room, very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Jacuzzi bath (once we’d got a plug for it)

United StatesLocation - the traffic around the hotel can be bad at night. There are many things to do nearby and that causes many people to be around during the evenings. Be patient with people when driving and on the crowded metro at night. Hotel/room - the room was very hot. And it did have a two bugs inside. The easiest way to deal with the heat is to turn it off at the thermostat and bring a small plug-in fan. Within a few hours, my room was very comfortable and I slept very well. With the hotel being near lots of plants/greenery, you have to expect bugs to be present. Yes it's not fun to deal with, but either open the window to let them out or squish the bugs and dispose of them. Parking - nothing wrong with parking. Staff - nothing wrong with staff. Just understand they are professionals. They will not be overly helpful like US hotels, but they are very helpful and polite to work with. Don't misinterpret their professionalism for rudeness or being cold towards guest.
Location - the hotel is about 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa. The location is 5-10 minutes walk from the Green Line metro in Milan. Large shopping malls are within 10 minutes drive and there are several gas stations close by for filling up your rental car. Hotel/room - the rooms are in a classic style. Yes some will say they are "old and outdated" but this hotel is keeping to a classic style through its remodeling therefore it will remain "outdated" but that's not a negative thing . The beds and pillows are firm which is my personal preference. Parking - free underground and outside on site parking. Plenty of spaces Staff - staff were professional and when prompted for help, they would gladly help you, but you need to be polite and ask for help. They know how to give great service but they aren't there to be your servant or personal conceirge.
