Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThis gorgeous B&B was located in such a great spot in ravello. Close to the main square and not many steps at all. The host Carlos was so kind and friendly. He made our stay extra special and we enjoyed his lovely breakfast each morning. Carlos was so helpful when we had to sort out our delayed luggage. We loved learning about the history of the property and the amazing produce they grew. We would absolutely come back.

We had a lovely stay at Rosa e Valentino. Carlo was a fantastic host. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and with amazing views from the balcony. A delicious breakfast was served on the terrace, including produce produced by Carlo and his family. The location is convenient for the centre of Ravello. Would highly recommend. Thank you Carlo!

IsraelIt’s a more general problem to this entire area. We came by car and there is no good parking place near the hotel. They offered us a parking that cost money, which was not so close to the hotel. At the end the host helped us and showed us where to park for free, also not very close.
Everything! The host is very nice, the room is very clean and beautiful, with amazing view from the balcony. The story of this place is also very interesting. The location is just a few minutes walk from the center of Ravello. The breakfast is good.

Romania-
To fairly rate Rosa e Valentino please read my considerations bellow my rating, Understanding what Ravello can offer, and the prices of a room in Ravello, Rosa e Valentino is one of the best options in Ravello if you have a limited budget. Great views from the room to Scala, omly some steps to Rufolo, The breakfast is rich one of the best in Ravello(cheese, butter, fruits good coffee, homemade jam, yoghurt, pastries) Carlo is kind and helpful, He arranged us transfer from Ravello to our next destination. So you will find here all you need for a perfect stay in Ravello. Some words about Ravello. First of all. iF you come to Amalfi Coast and Ravello you must ask yourself what do you expect from this region, can you afford it and if you have everything to assure your mobillity. So after you answered this questions, may start to reserve an accomodation. I visited Amalfi coast as amateur photographer and to take the pulse of this magic region (my wife loves Italy and the Italian way of life), If you want to enjoy your stay in Ravello and Amalfi Coast you will need a good physical condition or a car or motorbike. If yiou decide to come with a car, be sure you have the ability and the nerves to drive on this kind of mountaineous roads and a proper car, and you have a place to park it. We came to Naples with a plain and used only transfers and public transport. Transfers are expensive (130-150 Eurio from Naples to Ravello) but if you have big luggage it is the best option. You win time and comfort. Avoid taxis (you have small bus between Ravello and Amalfi but look at it's schedule , or better ask SITA because the Sita homepage is not always up to date). Ravello is not as crowded as Amalfi or Positano, but with great villas (Rufolo, Cimbrone) and views to the sea and mountains. You find easier a table for lunch and dinner. But you can get to Amalfi on some hundred steps in about an hour. The minimal stay in Ravello is 2 nights. Less is just waste of time.

RomaniaI recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property in Ravello, and I couldn't have been more delighted with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in a world of authenticity and warm hospitality that made my stay truly memorable. One of the standout features of this stay was the genuine feeling of being a part of the local family. The property has a rich history and a compelling story behind it, which adds a unique layer of charm to your visit. This personal touch made my stay feel like more than just accommodation; it felt like a genuine connection to the heart of Ravello. The mornings were a true highlight, thanks to the delightful breakfasts prepared with love. The use of fresh, local products from the garden added a burst of flavor to each meal. I can't recommend the orange jam enough—it's a must-try! Additionally, being able to savor the family wine made right on the property, from grapes grown in their own vineyard, was a delightful experience that added to the overall authenticity of my stay. The host was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout my visit. Their assistance with my luggage, although not strictly necessary, was a kind gesture that exemplified their commitment to guest comfort. Communication with the host was consistently excellent and polite, ensuring that every need or query was addressed promptly. In summary, my stay at this local family property in Ravello was an absolute delight. If you're seeking an authentic experience that immerses you in the heart of this beautiful region, look no further. From the rich history and story behind the property to the mouthwatering breakfasts and family-produced wine, every aspect of this stay exudes warmth and genuine hospitality. I highly encourage you to experience it for yourself. P.S: I almost forgot about the room, which was very clean and freshly renovated. The bathroom is spotless!

MaltaYou cant complain here. Its too beautiful not to like.
The property is situated in the heart of Ravello and is surrounded by natural landscapes. Until you reach the location, its like you are walking through the paths of a beautiful garden, which is cultivated by the family owning the property. This place is so serene that just by looking or staying on the terrace/balcony, relaxation just flows through your body. It is too important not to mention the Owner of this property, Carlo, gentle, helpful and so kind and you can feel that this place is truly their gem.

IrelandAbsolutely nothing to do with the B&B but currently you have to pretty much drive to and from Ravello - and indeed every day if you want to go somewhere. The road was damaged in a tragic bus accident earlier in 2023 and wasn't fixed when we stayed there. This meant that the regular buses could not run, leaving a very infrequent minibus service which was invariably full. We used it one day and literally only just managed to get home on the last bus. Drive, be prepared to spend a lot on taxis or check out if the SITA Sud busses are running again.
This is a modern B&B in a traditional home. Carlo, his mother and grandfather have created a really charming home with a stunning garden and view. The breakfast Carlo prepares is great, full of produce from the garden. The terrace is welcoming, the beds are comfortable and the Wifi is good. All in all, we cannot fault this B&B. Ravello is smart and charming, a total gem. It was so much better than being on the coast with the crowds.
