Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

Australiathe fridge was broken so we couldn’t store any of our food or drinks and they all went off on the first night- therefore spent more money on eating out etc. We mentioned this and it still was not fixed. we ran out of toilet paper and none replaced/ no one would collect the rubbish.

GermanyI cannot review the whole "hotel" because it is not hotel but a floor with several rooms. Also I can not review every single room, just room 607 where we have stayed for 4 days. Every single thing in the room ( except sheets and towels) was so dusty that we have tried to minimized walking around the room or even making much movement or otherwise a dust tornado will start spinning around the room. That said, walk carefully and try to avoid using blankets which were probably last washed sometimes at the beginning of Roman middle kingdom. Same goes for carpets, curtains, bed covers. Overall, day after checking out we are coughing and people starring at us, thinking it's corona (it's not we had to test ourselves) but real truth is that our organism is trying to fight with millennia old dust. Pictures provided by hotel are kind of a trap. Yes. They have couple of rooms which looks nice and have a balcony and looks clean (only saw them by passing by and doors are open but our room was not on one picture provided by hotel + it air conditioner made things even worse and there was not tea/coffee maker which are not important but still promised but not fulfilled. We have arrived late night and reception is not working at late hours (09-13h only) and complaining that late over whatsup would probably be useless.

The first thing we want to say is, thst from the beginning,we had a winderfull contact with Rossella, the recepcionist. She answered all my questions, even before we arrived.The hotel is in an absoutly prvileged location,near to buses, metro, but also everything easy to each walking, if you like it. When we arrived, Rossellawas already waiting for us,she gave us a lot of good recommendations, and even,as the reception closed,she told us to contact her in case of need. We felt really that we was not allone in Rome. Thanks Rossella 🙂🙂🙂

AustriaI stayed there with my husband for 4 nights and the place exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly and responded quickly to all our requests. They even upgraded our room to a bigger one with a balcony with no extra charges. The location of the hotel was very central, you could walk to the main sites from there. The area was also super quiet so it was perfect. Will definitely come back to this place next time we visit Roma.

ItalyThere was no hot water, the shower was broken, the door of the toilet doesn’t close. I have contacted the staff to fix it or provide a solution, but in the end could not have a proper shower at this place. The towels also smell like vinegar.
